Reviews
"Lovely park to go in with plenty playground ..outside side fitness witch I would realy miss and table tennis...only toilets cud do with abit TLC...otherwise realy nice park to visit...I meet so lovely people there..."
"Nice but quite small and quiet. They have a children's play area which is quite a decent size compared to most parks kids play area. Apart from this there is a skate park, a ping pong table and an exercise area with body weight machines. Nice place to walk the dog and a little stream my 4 year old loves to jump over"
"Decent park to go for a walk, particularly throughout the spacious green areas and the trail in which goes around the entire park. The park is very well maintained and without a doubt this makes visits to Friary a lot more pleasant. There are plenty of benches around, and a cafe located right in the centre. The toilets aren't great, but I guess they'll do. The cafe is ok, although the last time I went there (which was approximately a year ago) the price of a Magnum was around £3 or slightly over... Friary Park does have a good range of facilities on offer to the public. The the skatepark seems to be very popular and the outdoor gym. Usually, there are plenty of parking spaces available on Friary Road. I hope this information is useful to those who intend to travel to the park by car."
"Lovely clean and good size tranquil park with skateboard ramps, playground, cafe and bowls club. Great place for a stroll, to meet with friends or have a picnic. The garden area wasn't up to much but not really what people go to this park for."
"Lovely Park, well kept and very spacious. You can walk along the borders following the Creek and old bridge. The play area is great for toddlers and the high grass area overlooks the rest of the park so good place for a picnic."
