"The hygiene of the changing rooms is quite poor (not that many swimming pools in London offer much better), but the pool itself is absolutely lovely. It is quite long, rather uncrowded, yet not too wide, and the interior looks like from some vintage movie, giving, literally, Fargo vibes. They also have a wider lane for less rapid swimmers."

"I've been focusing more on swimming and BJJ rather than just lifting, and needed a better pool than the fancy, but kind of less for training more for posing, pools in Third Space. First impressions of Ironmonger are pretty good. Light, airy and a good view of the pool when you get in. Changing rooms are a bit shabby, and the floors could've done with a proper clean up but the facilities are decent. You'll need a pound coin for the lockers. The pool is amazing, the cleanest water I've seen for ages. All the Better pools have had amazing cleanliness. The pool was divided into four lanes and nicely quiet with a lifeguard. Showers are a bit annoying. You need to keep pressing the button to keep water running. So to summarise. Facilities are a bit ramshackle but the pools are exceptional. Well worth the entry fee / membership if you're a swimmer"

"Mostafa did a great job on my hardwood floors. Communicates well, honest and trustworthy. Very responsive and I would recommend him for any hardwood floor restoration."

"Summary: good distance 30m pool, management do not follow up on complaints, cleanliness is so poor led to cancelling membership. One of the strong points of this centre is the swimming pool. It is 30m which is a good length for longer swim sessions. Other than that, most other points about the facilities are negative. Having raised a couple of complaints and a piece of feedback to Better support, the management only followed up on one of those and even then no action was taken after three months had lapsed. The timer for the water in the showers is literally two seconds which makes it inconvenient to press the ON button tens and tens of times and impossible to turnaround and wash. This could be a quick win but has been the case for half a year. The general cleanliness of the centre is poor at best and the biggest issue. The men's changing rooms always (not almost always but always) has a puddle with hair and dust, the bucket for the swimsuit dryer is more often than not overflowing, and the benches typically have discarded items from members and are generally unclean. While there are many members using the facilities on a daily basis, it would be unreasonable to expect them to be clean all the time but nevertheless maintenance is too infrequent. Maybe you can live with most of these but the worst experience recently was when excrement was found on the floor in the main area of the changing rooms which was there for at least a couple of hours (which goes back to showing how infrequent the changing rooms are maintained). Not to be too graphic but there was no mistaking this for mud as an example, the smell confirming that too, while it had also been stepped on and spread. Having raised this to support who supposedly escalated this to management, they never followed up. This must be the worst thing a member can experience and it was treated in the same manner as any other issue (i.e. without much care or action to resolve). Cancelled membership, after allowing a couple of weeks to lapse to hear back."

"Good water temperature for a swim workout. Water is clean and not overly chlorinated. Note the pool is 30.5 metres."
