The Clubhouse at Royal Wharf

"It’s got a gym, swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and steam room. They’re all well maintained too so most times in good condition. The gym could be bigger though, considering the number of people that live in the estate. The spa area tends to close abruptly for maintenance work too"

"I live in the royal wharf complex and I'm not allowed to access the club house due to not being a private tennant. I find it disgraceful a small section of the community is banned from a building with no near by alternative."

"After attending regularly since opening I have to say I Love the place, unfortunately there are a few feedback points that could be raised. First, most of the water fountains don’t have enough pressure to use them for drinking without bringing your own bottle. It’s been like that since opening and no one has fixed it. GYM All the gym instructors are very knowledgeable, qualified, friendly and kind. However, it would be great if they were a bit more proactive and give actual gym advice to members. This is not a puregym, it’s only for residents and the cost of maintaining it is quite high per household. Although the instructors and classes are GREAT and you can always pay a Personal Trainer session, I would have expected a more proactive approach and more advice for free. I understand there is a need to monitor who gets in but having the trainers stuck at the door doing that rather than being upstairs giving advice is such a waste of knowledge and potential. SWIMMING POOL Rules on the swimming pool are not very consistent with my experience on other indoor swimming pools. First, there is no obligation to wear a swimming cap which means you can easily find hairs on the water and and increased risk of filter blockages. Second, there is no obligation for the people to wear flip-flops which means that a lot of people goes barefooted into showers, changing room, swimming area etc. In my opinion it’s quite non-hygienic and screams “verruca infection” Not sure if these two things have anything to do with it, but the swimming pool has been closed many times for many days to solve issues with their health and safety readings. It’s a great place, the facilities are great and the people is amazing. However, there is still some issues that need to be resolved in my humble opinion. If it wasn’t because of those issues I would right now giving a 12star review if possible."
