""Ref.: London Group Accommodation - Glenthurston Apartments - Ravensbourne Properties. Like many travellers from abroad, we made a booking back in February 2020 unbeknown to the fact that the upcoming pandemic would prevent us from travelling. Together with grandparents and grandchildren we planned a four-day stay in the Pall Mall apartment for this coming July as kindly indicated by the management to be the one that would comfortably accommodate such a rather large party with two babies. It looked wonderful on the website, and we were looking forward to enjoying the amenities the property was offering. While the cancellation policy clearly stated that the deposit would be forfeited in case of cancellation/no show. The owner of the property at Ravensbourne personally and very kindly made arrangements for the deposit to be fully refunded taking into consideration the extraordinary and exceptional times we are in. While Sue had no obligation to do so, this remarkable and professional decision makes us appreciate even more this property and assures them of our future visits. "Last trip ( was number 11 to London and number nine to Glenthurston ) I stayed in three different flats over eleven weeks. My family could not have been more happy over the years with the accommodation and the friendly people. Sue and Simon have become friends rather than just hosts. All flats are clean, well-maintained, and fully fitted with all that 's needed for a London holiday for one or a family. I am planning Trip # 12 right now. Bring a family - you won't go wrong ! Location is ideal for trains to central London and buses to Greenwich. I hope to get back there this April/May and continue the tradition for the next five years. (To celebrate a major birthday at Simpson's. Hoping Holmes and Watson will be there also)."
