"These are fairly basic rooms, but they are clean and tidy. Fantastic location with great access to all the sites. Plenty of amenities nearby to get food drink etc. Close to the river for walks. I would use the same location again. Friendly and helpful staff"

"Entry to the hotel is down an alleyway so if you are staying as a solo traveler, you may feel a little nervous entering and leaving the hotel at night. Other downside is the bar downstairs tends to empty bottle bins around 1am (I’ve stayed here 3 times and sadly it’s been like clockwork that I’ve been woken up at this time by what sounds like a recycling centre outside my window…) If you are staying as a pair and you are a heavy sleeper, it’s worth a cheap stay for 1 night. Better hotels around in my opinion"

"Staff were helpful Rooms were so basic, tiny TV, no air con Hard to control temp, window by the bed let in draft Squeaky bed The worst part was the design of the shower meant it constantly leaked everywhere and I had to spend time in the mornings drying it up. Breakfast box was super basic Nowhere to get cutlery if you order food since they don't have any kitchen or cooking facilities"

"Good location, although incredibly basic. For £172 a night you can expect a really tiny room, with a tiny en-suite and not much else. The room looked directly into a staff canteen opposite which was a little odd, so the curtains were closed for the duration! It is also worth noting it is incredibly loud with a lot of noise from the street, so take some ear plugs! The receptionist was polite and the room was clean. I booked and paid a little extra for breakfast which I personally wouldn't recommend - you only find out on arrival there is no breakfast room, just a takeout box with cornflakes, flapjack and orange juice which was a little frustrating; I'd recommend a room only rate and grab breakfast elsewhere."
