Travelodge London Central Tower Bridge

"Lovely stay in this travel lodge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. In terms of noise, it wasn't noticeable for me and I'd be a light sleeper. Would definitely recommend staying here, great location right beside the tube and dlr"

"Was there for business.Nice and clean hotel just 5 minutes walk from tower Bridge and same distance to underground stations. Breakfast was good and the staff at the reception really helpful. The room nice and big (the toilet could be little bit cleaner from the previous guest) I will definitely visit it again if I’m traveling alone or with one more)"

"Extremely disappointed by the size of the room, value for money and location of the hotel. Staying in a ground floor cramped room facing a footpath with people peeping in the window. Requested for a room change but the girl at the reception rudely said her room service will have to do extra work to clean up the room. Pathetic customer services. I would have been better off stating at a small apartment room which would have been a lot more cheaper. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!"

"Good points: The hotel is very close to tower hill and so an easy base for exploring tower bridge area and south bank The rooms are comfortably equipped - bed comfortable, having space for clothes and a kettle / coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was excellent. A good variety of food and the staff friendly and helpful. Not so good points: Rooms completely lack ventilation and so you need to open a window otherwise the room is hot and stuffy. Normally this would not be a problem however, when the window is opened you are met with a barrage of noise. There is a noisy road one side and train tracks the other. So you can choose to be kept awake by heat or noise. TV did not work when I first arrived - bit of fiddling it came down to a dodgy cable at the back, which I managed to make work albeit with occasional signal drop out. Chair is unsafe - two bolts holding the the seat of the chair in place, but would spring off when sitting on it. Heater, whilst not a problem on this trip looked dangerous. At some point in the past it appears to have over drawn current and the plug and socket were partially melted. Dog friendly hotel but nowhere to sit with dogs at breakfast."

"No air conditioning in the rooms. Very hot. The key cards randomly stopped working and had to have them reset a few times. Even numbered rooms face the train tracks and it's pretty loud. The shower wouldn't drain. The staff was friendly and they work hard. It's a convenient location and great of you just need a bed and a shower. Probably wouldn't stay again."
