"The most I have ever paid to stay in a hostel and probably in my bottom 5 hostels. Needed a space for an early morning Skype call and there was absolutely nowhere suitable. There are no common areas or seating areas in this hostel. You get your bed, bathroom, no towel (even when paying over £50 per night) and that is it. Very different to other hostels I've stayed in. Helpful service when I arrived late."

"- breakfast is 8-10 and it’s just cheap lunch meat and cheese and some fruit, 10£ is better spent at the Tesco next door, they only offer instant coffee too - no privacy in beds, no curtains, rooms stay freezing - showers are disgusting, toilets get cleaned, but the whole experience feels like a porta-potty - downstairs pub turns into a big party all night. It’s so loud that you cannot hear yourself think. I’m talking like people screaming in your ear. And the staff did not warn me or offer earplugs. - they made me wait till 15:00 to check in after getting here at a reasonable 14:00. - have to pay for 5£ towel and 4£ padlock - you have to wade through a massive crowd of sloppy drunk people to get to the hostel entrance which is at the back of the pub - you have to use your phone to enter the hostel and your room, and reception closes at 2AM. So good luck to you if you run out of data or your phone dies"

"One of the lower end hostels I've stayed at. The staff is super nice, the location is amazing. That's pretty much the best thing I can say about this place. To start, the rooms are quite small, and get very hot. The cleaning staff is very nice and I definitely think they do their best to maintain the place but the people who come through here are just disgusting. Floor is constantly wet from people having showers, toilets clogged or just gross. The shower is incredibly small. Like, seriously. If you're on the bigger side I couldn't imagine you would be able to fit, let alone move around. Shower has a bit of mold and constantly has hair clogging the drain even with a mat on top of it. I walked into one of the bathrooms once and there was a wad of toilet paper with fresh blood sitting on the ledge of the wall in one of the bathrooms. The storage lockers in the room are made of metal. They make so much noise and they're quite hard to maneuver based on the bed you get. Make sure you have room in your bags for your belongings because depending on the size someone could just pull it through the cage. The beds are hard and they only provide one, incredibly small and limp pillow. Don't worry though, you wont manage to get any sleep here, especially on the weekend because it is SO LOUD. Live music on weekends from 10-2 (22-2:00) that even with a very good pair of ear plugs you hear everything. The people downstairs are so rambunctious and constantly smash glasses and scream. I was only here for two days so not sure about during the week, but I could barely survive that. You need to have a functional phone on you because they use an app to unlock the door to the stairwell and then to the rooms. If your phone is dead pray that one of your roommates is awake and will hear you knock on the door. The breakfast included at breakfast is just …. so poor... don't buy it. There's a pret a manger close buy and English breakfast is incredible. Don't miss out. All in all, if you're not planning on getting a good night's sleep or care too much about hygiene, I would recommend this place. Otherwise, stay away."

"tiny rooms (8 people in a very small space), uncomfortable and too short beds, clogged toilets and claustrophobic showers, very modest intercontinental breakfast (if you book the bed through their official website you will get it for free) so if you have to pay it's better to go to Tesco, which is right next door... promotions in the bar mentioned at check in in practice does not exist (2 for 1 cocktail or 1 shot 1 pound), check out at 10 a.m. and check in at 3 p.m. which is ridiculous because they had a lot of free beds at 2 p.m. once we got there and had to wait an hour in the bar... it was very noisy, so when you want to sleep, you only need earplugs that you get free at check in..... the one and only pros of this place was good location because it was close to The Shard and The Sky Garden..."

"Best place to stay in London! Simply can't say enough good things about this hostel! The staff are friendly, kind and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and there's free lockers under every bed (bring your own lock). There's lots of bathrooms, also very clean. Best of all, there's an awesome pub just downstairs that really comes alive at night. It can get a little noisy with the live music at night, but the staff give you a really good quality pair of earplugs upon arrival. Don't let the noise bother you though, go downstairs and join in! The environment is very inviting and you immediately feel at home! This is a great hostel to make new friends and meet people from all around the world. Thank you all so much for such a great stay, will definitely be returning!"
