"Good location. I had accessible room downstairs. Quiet and spacious but hard to see tv from bed. Awkward angle. Books for sale in are epitome. Limited breakfast offer compared to other PI. Good transport links."

"We took two rooms for a family celebration. After the first night my daughter was scratching, and it was not until the second night that she examined the mattress and found it full of insects. Manager didn’t seem at all surprised and arranged for her to move to another premier inn across town as there were no more rooms available. Unbelievably, even having submitted photos of bites and insects, they refused to reimburse us as if we would be prepared to travel across town in the middle of night on the eve of a family wedding for the sheer fun of it. There was no air conditioning and it was impossible to open the window because of traffic noise. The breakfast was terrible and I’ll never stay in another Premier Inn."

"This is now basically a self catering three star hotel. You must read the small print on a piece of paper left in the hotel room, which says that there is no room service available unles you ask for it. Despite the fact that there is still a notice in the bathroom that says the towels will be replaced if left in the bath - no mention of the unavailability of room service. When we arrived there was only one set of towels in our double room. When I complained I was told that I had to collect the additional towels from reception when I returned from an evening out. Also note they have changed the swing ticket on the door handle that no longer says please service my room. Due to this very poor service, Premier Inn is no longer our preferred choice of hotel. A B&B would offer far better value."

"Ideal place to be if you need to be at the Royal free. Beds lovely, but the rooms could do with a revamp. Staff were excellent and breakfast was the usual vast choice"

"The hotel has no air con(which is stated on the website so I already was aware). The windows don’t open enough to ventilate in a hot London summer. You feel like you can’t breathe in the room. Upon asking reception for a room change they said “it’s all of the rooms”. They had had the courtesy to put a fan in our room before we arrived, however, it was a mere drop in the ocean in terms of impact. Considering there’s no air con, fully in the knowledge of the heat levels during summer year to year, how can they justify the sale of said rooms? I trusted in good faith that because there was no air con that they would have remedied our discomfort with a complimentary drink at the bar to cool down? Or went out there way and acquired fans or cooling mist for guests if it’s just “the way it is” with regards to air con. I now feel under the weather from staying at this hotel. It has made me not want to book with Premier Inn ever again as there’s nothing “premier” about it. There are cheaper hotels with better standards than this. Considering the recent pandemic it’s not fit for purpose. It’s a breeding ground for bacteria and germs without proper ventilation. Room was lacklustre but didn’t care too much as was distracted by the suffocating and inability to sleep. Don’t stay here in summer unless you want to stay in a sweat lodge ! Will be recommending to friends and family not to bother with this company as a result."
