"Check-in done at self service kiosk beside the entrance. However, there was issue with the machine giving out the room card for entrance into hotel. Ring the door bell for reception, waited about 30 mins to be let in from the chilly 6pm Nov climate. Room quite big, adequately maintained and clean. Includes clean towels, face towels, kettle, hair dryer, body/hair gel, carpark for small cars and clothes hangars. Buffet breakfast is ok. Walkable to piers, restaurants and shopping."

"Spotlessly clean, FANTASTIC hot showers, great charging stations/usb ports in the rooms, excellent breakfast - the only problem I had was the front desk guy (Jiri) - I checked in at 2 pm, but there was nobody at front desk, no note, nothing, just empty. I had no idea I was supposed to use the outside computer screen - the website says there is someone there till 10 at night. We waited around and finally figured nobody was there - worked out how to use the outside screen to check in. Later on when I went out, I saw him at the desk, very unfriendly, unhelpful - I asked him why there hadn't been anyone there for check in and he told me rudely that this is how all hotels are, self check in. I told him that's wrong - he's supposed to be there till 10 at night or at least have a sign saying "back in 5 minutes" - but he was very rude. I asked him too (as there are no phones in the bedrooms), if I needed to contact someone, what do I do - he pushed the telephone receiver that was on the reception desk and told me "use this" and pointed to the sign that gave the phone number. So I said if I'm in my room or slip in the shower or something, what do I do? He said "use your phone and call this number or come down and use this phone." So that's all well and good - HOWEVER, at 3 am FIRE ALARM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We all evacuated from the hotel and went down - NO JIRI IN SIGHT - I called and called the number - THIS NUMBER CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALLED. We had many guests trying to ring that number - same response. They tried the outside checkin- computer screen - that listed the phone number - SAME RESPONSE. CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALLED. SO THERE WAS NO WAY TO REACH ANYONE! Jiri didn't show up for ages - I'd gone across the road to see if anyone there could help but all buildings were locked up tight - when I got back Jiri was there and just said "ERROR." No apologies or sorry for the inconvenience - just "ERROR" and "you can go back to bed." WHAT A RUDE MAN - clearly not suited for a job in hospitality. There was another guy on duty the next morning - much friendlier and nicer (with a beard) - I told him that we couldn't reach anyone during the fire alarm and he was puzzled, I tried using the front desk phone again and it rang his cellphone right away. He couldn't understand why the previous night it had been basically disconnected or unreachable. Anyway, he was MUCH nicer - and the rest of the stay was great - it's excellent location - very basic but VERY clean, comfortable - noisy with people coming and going at all hours (but that's what a hotel is) - I had someone fumble at my door with a key at 2 am the next morning, trying to unlock it - and when I opened the door, two startled women were there - obviously a mistake, but another disturbed night. Would I stay there again? YES I would - it's the most convenient hotel to Putney, next to a great chinese restaurant, spotless, comfortable, the best shower I've had in years - but it loses two stars due to the complete rudeness of Jiri,"

"Hello hotel friends, this hotel is good for the price! Let me explain. Starting with the good things, Bathrooms: nice shower with great water pressure. The rooms are good, it’s clean and the cleaning ladies make your beds every day. Breakfast is amazing, great selection for the price of this hotel and great tasting food as well, easily the best part of this hotel as well as the water pressure. Also the staff is amazing, very nice and do a great job cleaning the rooms. I Would recommend this hotel for anyone. Also it’s very close to a tube station that goes either to Wimbledon or downtown London. Nice sunset too :)"
