"I cannot fault it as a Travelodge. It is a fairly new built hotel and it shows. Well placed and I liked the Wimbledon theme running through the hotel. The rooms we had were great, quiet and warm. Well equipped tea/coffee, TV and en-suite, toiletries. We had booked breakfast and that was really good. We (as a three) could not sit together as it was busy, sat us opposite which was fine. Parking is on street and expensive so if you are bring a car then book close by. Location wise everything within Wimbledon is walking distance or was for us."

"Although a bit out of town still convenient for a stay after a show in the west end. Checked in quite late at night but the lady on reception was still cheerful and friendly and helpful. Only issue was we booked a twin room and although the beds could be separated, they hadn't. Not a major issue, we made do as it was so late and we were tired."

"3 night stay, ended after 2 nights. Room 702, window open and no-one could close it, so noisy and cold being winter time, hence no 3rd night, went home. No hot water for first night so no shower or bath. Breakfast wasn't bad compared to other travelodges we'd stayed at however the plate warmer was set incredibly hot so you couldn't even pick up a breakfast plate without 4 or 5 napkins to hold it. I was one of quite a few people who burnt their fingers on the thing."

"Probably the best Travelodge in the world. However, the shower curtain didn't descend to the floor leading to extraordinary flooding which might be traumatic for people who live in flood prone areas. Also the internet is considered a cost extra rather than a basic human right. There was a fancy coffee pod machine but the coffee that it made was not good and totally didn't justify the funky loud noises it made while producing it. On the positive side, the place is totally new, the lift doors on the left lift open incredibly quickly, and we got 2 hot chocolate sachets from world famous chocolate producer Cadbury and 2 kitkat from world famous chocolate producer nestle."

"We booked this hotel from 3rd November and have been contacted about changes to opening . I appreciate the prompt response. It is a shame someone has left this beautiful place such a poor rating. Communication has been very effective and we have been put in another Travelodge with no issues. Thank you to the staff who handled our case. It was effortless and I will be back to Wimbledon’s when it opens"
