“Seashore Caberet is a great place to go for brunch. The food is excellent and there is a good selection to pick from. The Truckers' breakfast is really tasty. The service is always very good, and the views towards Wellington and across the bay are beautiful. It's definitely worth a visit.”

“A hidden treasure! Like stepping into a rustic seaside cafe in the Med, with painted tables, assorted greenery and a stunning view, what a way to spend the late afternoon! The rhubarb cake was glorious and I can’t wait to return to indulge in more temptations! The owner was an inspiration and clearly delights in creating quality, healthy delicious food for body and soul.”

My friends had beautiful fresh sandwiches The egg in one was so thick. Just superb. Look around the corner & you will see the hot food cabinet. So many tempting items”

“Visited at a fairly busy time but still was able to score a table for 2. We ordered The Fiend and the smashed avocado. Both meals were amazing well portioned and coffee was great (strong how I like it). The atmosphere was buzzing and staff were very helpful. Our meals came out within 10mins surprising considering the amount of customers at the time. Will most definitely be returning.”

“I stop in here briefly to pass a little time before meeting a flight at the airport. I wish I have more time, as the service is very pleasant from the young lady with the (French?) accent, and if I wasn’t piling on the kilos from eating out so much on my month long holiday in NZ, I would certainly be tempted with the goods in the display cabinet. All I can manage today is a berry smoothie, sweetened with honey and yoghurt. The balance of consistency and sweetness is spot on, and I’m in my happy place. There are a lot of seats, spread over three areas, and the decor is clean and functional, with some nice pieces gracing the walls - I especially love the large mirror, which looks like it’s framed in a door frame, with industrial fridge hinges. There’s also Nadia Liam’s latest magazine near my table, which makes for inspirational browsing. Keep up the great work team.”

“I come here now and then for coffee and snacks, but this morning I had Holly's eggs, which was pretty much eggs Benedict. I had the smoked salmon option with the potato rosties. This was so yummy! Service was so good, very friendly and chatty, which made a great start to the day with positive vibes.”

“Great menu, friendly staff and good looking food. I had the creamy mushrooms with crispy kale, hazelnut & coconut crumb. The mushrooms were deliciously rich and creamy. The bread that came with the dish was a bit weird - I think they were thick slices of brioche? I’m not used to eating really soft white bread, so it wasn’t my thing, but some people will be into it. Would love to try their other dishes, especially the bowls.”

“Been wanting to come here for breakfast for ages, but it’s always either fully booked or closed - the draw card being the high ratings and the option to build your own breakfast. Finally made it! Built my own breakfast and it was delicious! Definitely worth a visit. And if not for breakfast or brunch, then the cabinet offers up some pretty delicious looking options for afternoon tea.”
