Montessori Children's House
● Closed121 Darlington Road, Miramar, Wellington 6022, New Zealand“Sue and her team are amazing, I could not recommend Montessori Children’s House more highly. My son loved every minute of his two years there - he has entered school well prepared with all the skills he needs to learn effectively and has developed a wonderful, curious mind and a thirst for knowledge. The environment is rich with learning opportunities and the staff are so wonderful and dedicated to their students. We really miss Montessori Children’s House now we have moved on, and feel so privileged to have been part of it.”

All About Children Childcare - Naenae, Lower Hutt, Wellington
● Closed“We initially chose All About Children Naenae because it was a smaller centre and had a nice large outdoor space compared to our previous centre. It was OK when we started but we did have a few doubts that we had made the right move. Since the new centre management has come in it feels more organised and structured and we feel really happy with our decision. The staff have been awesome especially over the COVID-19 lockdown and the communication has been excellent.”

Trickle Creek
● Open“We had a lovely pony party with Louise at her beautiful farm. Louise was very much on top of all the party organizing which made the party planning stress free. We chose a late start on a Friday afternoon to accommodate school end times. All the kids and adults enjoyed the activities and the yummy food (we went for the deluxe option, more than enough healthy and tasty food). I also got a platter for the adults plus tea, this gave the adults some tasty refreshments while the kids enjoyed their food and the party. It was a joy to see the smiling faces as the kids interacted with the animals and rode the pony/horses. Then we (two of us) stayed over in the cabin. This was really awesome, just some quality time to chill together, cozy warm beds, kitchen available to use as needed. I highly recommend this venue (we are coming back for some days in the holiday programme :) Thanks Louise!”

Capital City Preschool
● Closed“We’ve chosen for our younger child to also attend CCP. We’re delighted to be back and have been again impressed by the experience for our child, for us as parents, and as a whanau. We’ve also really enjoyed reconnecting with families we met when our eldest attended and it’s a tribute to the centre that there are so many families choosing the centre for all their children. The centre continues to provide a supportive environment for us all. The transition into preschool was great, empowering us as parents and our child to work through the transition in our own way and timing. The kaiako were so kind (and patient) as we navigated toilet training and continue to show their care for our child and his own passions and quirks. We’re constantly impressed by the wide range of activities offered to the tamariki, both in the centre (music, sports, mindfulness, baking to name a few) but also activities outside the centre (trips to the library, local theatre, Te Papa etc). The centre is supported by a passionate committee and caring families who share their cultural experiences with the children e.g. over Diwali, Chinese New Year etc which exposes them to the diversity of our local community. We feel so fortunate to have found this centre city gem, and are so pleased our youngest is benefiting from this great foundation for his learning journey. I am sure that he too will be so well prepared for primary school and the rest of his education just like his older brother was. Many thanks to the fab and hard working team at CCP.”

Montessori at Otari Preschool
● Open“We recently moved to New Zealand and Wellington, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found Otari Montessori. It's not just a school, it's a community of warm, engaged people coming together around young children. The teachers are incredible—caring, knowledgeable, immensely competent, and attentive—the leadership strikes a near-perfect balance of organization and accessibility, and the space is exceptional. We cannot recommend Otari Montessori highly enough.”

WellyPutt Mini Golf
● Closed“Best indoor mini golf in Wellington! The holes are all so creative and fun, with some really pushing the boundaries of ''golf''.... We had a great time and will definitely be back with a bigger posse. Didn't catch the name of guy working there but he was really friendly. Only feedback is to lower the lights a little for a more relaxed and less office-space vibe :)”

Escape Mate
● Closed“Before travelling to New Zealand we researched all of the Escape Rooms that we wanted to play and our #1 choice was Atlantis however there was only 2 of us so we chose the Temple game and it was amazing. Fortunately we were there on the day that the Owner was present and she invited us to play Atlantis at the other location. Woowza! It was everything that we hoped it would be and more. The photos don't show the full scope of the game and I won't give away any spoilers but even half of this game is better than most any other games we have played (over 100 each). You won't find a better immersive game than Atlantis. It rivals the best anywhere. If it was in a large European city or LA in the US it would be booked up solid. If you are anywhere close to Wellington, do yourselves a favor and play any of the 3 games from Escape Mate. You will be glad that you did!”

Sarah was very attentive to us and very knowledgeable about the product line we were interested in. In our fifty-six years of marriage we have dealt with a large number of retail sales people and have to tell you that Sarah rates right up there with the best, we couldn't be more satisfied.
