Howdy Bagel

"Howdy! As someone who has lived many places within the country and originally from NY, it’s a true struggle to find good bagels, especially boiled and hand rolled bagels, fresh and still warm when you’re served them. I haven’t had a “good” bagel since my last visit to NY, until today at Howdy Bagel. These bagels are delicious, fresh, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. I am so impressed with Howdy Bagel, not only because of the quality of bagels, but also for its community support through locally sourced products like eggs, meat and dairy. Apart from the extremely delicious food, I was blown away with how kind and friendly all of the staff was, as well as the range of products sold other than their food and drinks. The decor is perfection as well. 100 out of 10"

"Great food, friendly atmosphere, but long lines. The daily line outside the shop finally got us curious enough to try this out. After more than half an hour, we finally got inside, and the atmosphere was great - workers were lively and polite, and there was a variety of small business and minority-owned products to look at while waiting for your turn for the bagels. After another thirty minutes of being in line and waiting for the order, we got three bagel sandwiches - pastrami, egg, & cheese; avo boast; lox in a box. All of them were delicious and filling, but very messy to eat, which is expected of a bagel sandwich. I'd suggest getting this for a takeout, as it's quite hard to get ahold of a table. Overall, it's worth a try if you're curious, but I don't see myself coming here often just due to sheer wait time (we came for Saturday lunch, so it might vary)."

"Howdy Bagel? More like HEAVENLY bagel! Don't be scared away by the long lines because the bagels are absolutely worth the wait. (Be sure to get here early because the lines start right when they open) This was my third time visiting and this place never disappoints. The bagels come out hot and fresh, the bacon is cooked to perfection, and the eggs are cooked just right to the point where they aren't runny, but perfectly jammy. Without a doubt, their bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwich is the best bagel sandwich I've ever had!"

"Howdy Bagel is a true gem! Today, I ventured into the delightful chaos of the bacon and egg hot sandwich – messy but oh-so-delicious; totally worth it! Paired it with a decaf latte featuring their housemade vanilla syrup; fantastic, though I might opt for half vanilla next time—just a personal preference. The warm, friendly smiles throughout the experience make this spot inviting. Despite the hour-long wait on a Saturday morning (expected and reminiscent of Proctor's Farmer's market), it's definitely worth the anticipation. Can't wait to return for more bagel delights!"

"We went during the re-opening of the weekend and were actually surprised based on the line out the door. Normally, this would have turned us away, but we decided to tough it out and were well rewarded! It’s a little small on the inside, but gives major coffee house vibes and everyone is extremely friendly. Maybe re-consider if you have a baby stroller because it’s tight inside. Tons of great options on the menu, and the latte was delicious. Would highly recommend a visit, and if there’s a line outside, wait it out!"
