The Rock Wood Fired Pizza

"I attended a kid's birthday here and it was my first time here. The waitress was kind and attentive to our party. The atmosphere was chill and also family friendly. I would say inviting overall. I ordered the chicken strips and they were hot and tasty. A decent size portion (I think I got 6) and strip size. The sauces were run of the mill simple tasting sauces, but they have a wide selection. I tried the garlic mozzarella bread, the brown sugar mozzarella bread, and nachos as well. The different breads were okay. Cheese tends to make everything taste good, but I prefer more depth of flavor or a slight crispiness to crusts and breads. The nachos were solid. They had a great cheese sauce and crunchy thin chips with an option of chicken or beef. The guacamole and sour cream somehow left a bit to be desired. I think the sour cream was not actually sour cream because it was less sour and a little more like ricotta in texture. The pizzas I tried were the Pride and Joy and My Generation. The Pride and Joy was like a typical combination pizza. It was an okay flavor. The My Generation pizza had more flavor to it, and was okay as well. If the pizzas had a better crust and higher quality ingredients, then I think it would be even better. Overall, it was okay all around. I would give the place a 3.5 if I could because the atmosphere and service is a plus."

"The first night we went, the food was absolutely amazing! We honestly should've left it at that, but we went back, and it was a mistake... My burger was burnt and had no flavor. My partner had a piece of sharp plastic inside inside his burger the size of a dime.. I'm very disappointed. Again, the first night, I would've given this place 5 stars because everything was good. Obviously, we went back for more, but after going back for night two, I'm leaving this review! So definitely check it out, the food was great, the service was fast, the beer was good! But leave it as a one and done experience!"

"Amazing. I had the Thunderstruck pizza. But there was a large group of us and the server did a stunning job at remembering the orders to the T. I didnt see a note pad in sight. I like how the options were teetering into abnormal pizzas ingredients. Great place to try new pizza toppings beyond a standard pepperoni. Although there's nothing wrong with that too."

"Acacia is freaking amazing ! I came during the Seahawks game. It was busy. From the second we walked in, good vibes, amazing service. She helped me decide on what to eat, while saving me money at the same time. Food was hot and fresh, even tended to a special request of mine, all while she was understaffed. Thank you for caring about your customers! It makes a difference"

"I dined at the Rock this Saturday evening with four friends and we sat at the bar. Our service was phenomenal and we were celebrating a birthday. We all got buckets, you can’t go wrong with any of them. The lightning bucket was especially tasty. No appetizers are needed because these pizzas are made with quality ingredients and are very filling. I highly recommend the My Generation which is a chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. You should get an extra side of ranch or two or three because it is so good. Big kudos to the rock for comping our birthday friend’s cookie skillet and Jell-O shot, that’s awesome! Will happily dine at the rock again."
