"I first discovered this fabulous coffee shop in New York City. I was excited to see that they had a georgetown location in DC. I immediately went there and was not disappointed. They have a fantastic atmosphere that captures the tranquility of a French cafe. The pastries are fantastic, and the coffee is excellent. They have a full menu, and the service was excellent. This is a great place to stop and have coffee or pastries to start your day, or just to relax and enjoy the weekend."
"My family and I LOVE Maman. It was a series of unexpected events that brought us to Georgetown and to the door of this wonderful gem. How lucky were we! The cafe was busy, so we had to wait a bit for a table, but it was well worth it. Everything we ordered was Delicious. We savored every sip and bite ~ from the delectable sweet and savory pastries (the truffle ricotta/butternut squash/sage croissant was an amazing standout) to the deconstructed egg salad sandwich, to the soup, to the perfectly brewed, fragrant and robust coffees. Plus, the waiter and manager were first rate. We'd give 10 stars if we could! It will be a regular stop every time we're in DC from now on!"
"Amazing bakery. The design, the atmosphere, and the seating space were all amazing. Perfect for an afternoon tea or a quick pastry bite. The pastry and coffee was quite good but nothign outstanding. The croissant was really good but all the other pastry was just okay. Coffee was just okay. The honey lavender was too sweet."
