"The trout was perfectly executed - tender fish w super crispy skin. French 75 cocktail was great, so was the dessert pear tart. It’s somewhat pricey but food and drink quality were very high. Only downside was it took some time for food to come out (weeknight, not a huge deal as I wasn’t in a hurry) - I would definitely eat here again next time I’m staying at the hotel."

"The whole place was very beautiful with great atmosphere! The trout was good but slightly too salty for the duck breast, everything else was great! Specifically the escargot and drinks~dessert was perfect!"

"The service is always excellent. I’ve eaten here four times during my trip to DC because the experience was so good. The cured egg was the best part, an egg yolk you can spread on toast like jam. The french toast was also particularly delicious."

"A taste of France in DC. The restaurant is located in the amazing Banneker hotel. The place is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Our waitress Idanis was great. Now to the food. The onion soup was delicious and I wanted another bowl. My father in law was jealous when I had mine he had to order a bowl for himself. The menu has something for everyone. I had the scallops for my main course and they were cooked perfectly. This place is the only place I want to eat in DC. I will be back for sure whenever I am in town. Don’t forget to save room for dessert!"
