Mill Creek Landing Apartments

"Mill Creek Landing Apartments is located on Mill Creek in Buckroe Beach, VA and has the most amazing view which can be seen from the kitchen/living room/dining area and large porches of the apartments at Mill Creek. Honestly, the view alone (please see the photos) would be reason enough to move here if you are looking to relocate. I've lived here over 4 years and the view never gets old, I have hundreds of photos of sunrises, sunsets, storms, the sun sparkling on the water, moonlight across the water and I would have moved here just to be able to see the sun rise and set every day from this location but it's so much more than that. People here care about each, the leasing company cares about us, too! When I get a text or email from the leasing office about a storm, I know it's time to bring in my porch furniture - they send us emails/text letting us and giving us the number to the power company and helpful reminders which I greatly appreciate. On the off chance that you need maintenance, in the years I've been here, it's been a few small items - light bulbs, ac filters, hornets nest on the porch ceiling, smoke detector sounding because it needed a battery - each time the service was handled quickly and everyone here is very respectful when they come in to fix anything so much so that I don't mind people coming in when I'm at work. If you have to call after hours maintenance, they don't leave you hanging and even with the smoke detector, they came after hours and didn't just replace the battery, there was a new smoke detector when I came home. Each time I've signed a lease there have been perks offered and most recently I choose to have my apartment cleaned as my perk which was absolutely fantastic, I was told it would be a light cleaning but my apartment was sparkling when I came home! My unit is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath and both bedrooms have nice walk-in closets with a lot of space! There is also a coat closet inside the front door and 2 nice size closets in the hallway so plenty of space for storage! One of the bathrooms is inside of the master bedroom. There are plenty of outlets everywhere you'd want them to be to be able to charge everything that needs charging. The units are cozy and comfortable and it is a quiet and peaceful community. The community is gated and I've always felt safe here (but I'd feel safe without the gate - it feels like the community is tucked away back here like a hidden gem). If your are looking for a place to relocate, you can come by and talk to Jenn in the onsite leasing office, that's what I did a few years ago and the first thing you'll notice is that Jenn feels like an old friend, once she takes you on a walk around the property to the fishing pier and the gazebo pier and you see the view, you'll probably be hooked, I was! As if all of that wasn't enough, there are get togethers in the on-site leasing office that basically feel like Jenn has invited you into her home (it really is the leasing office!) to hang out and catch up and have some refreshments and there are often raffle tickets and prizes. Once the pandemic started to subside, there was a day when there were bunches of flower in the office for us and another day in the summer where there were hot dogs and other summer treats. There was a Cinco De Mayo gathering last summer and a holiday gathering a few weeks ago. I could go on and on and add several more photos but you probably get the picture. I love living here and as long as I'm in this area, this is the only place I'd want to live!"

The Property Management and Maintenance keep the buildings and grounds in pristine care! Anytime there has been a maintenance issue, Sander is right on it and always does a great job!! The waterfront views from the apartment balconies, community gazebo, and fishing pier are breathtaking. But aside from the stunning location, what makes this community incredibly special is the exceptional level of professionalism, dedication, care, and service provided by the property manager Jenn Mendoza (who is PHENOMENAL, resourceful, kind, and responsive. She resolves every request down to the finite details and offers up creative solutions in the swiftest fashion!), the maintenance lead Doniel (who is skilled, diligent, and takes pride in executing high-quality work!) the maintenance supervisor Joe Soto (who is awesome, friendly, and so, so knowledgable!), and every single member of the team that tends to the community and the needs of its residents. Jenn and the team go above and beyond to ensure the community grounds, amenities, and apartments are beautifully maintained, and that resident satisfaction is a top priority.
