"As a frequent business traveler, I have been to many hotels—some good, some not so good, but what irks me the most is when a problem is brushed off as if it’s not a big deal. I don’t want to jump the gun, but please someone tell me this is not a “bed-bug.” My family and I saw this critter the first night and we didn’t think much of it, but then we saw a few more around TV and a few around the trash the next day. We googled it and it looked similar to a bed-bug. When I reported it, the front desk was nice enough to try to get us another room, but the hotel was full we were told. The manager was supposed to call, but he/she never did. Eventually we were told they had an accessibility room available and we took it because my family wouldn’t be able to sleep knowing these critters may around. While I appreciated the hotel for finding us a room, I wish they would have cleaned the room (at least vacuum) before getting us in there. I’m fine with some stains on the carpet, but com’on dustballs and drywall pieces on the floor did not feel welcome (just poorly kept). The shampoo and conditioner racks were broken off and sitting on the floor in the bathroom. We probably spent at 30 minutes with our own Clorox wipes before settling in. All that aside, 2 days after, still no phone call, no gesture from the manager… is just not very professional in my view. Did I mention that the maid did mention that they did have bed bugs in one of the rooms a few months back? I was told that it wasn’t the same room, but I could only wonder…. I deal with customers all the time and I’ve always educated my team members that “customer always comes first” and that’s how you succeed. Be empathetic and think about it from their perspective. Whether I’m an elite member or not, all customers should be treated, dealt with professionally and with courtesy. I’m sure some may have had a good experience here at the hotel, but I’m just sharing my view, so you decide."

"Visited relatives in the area, the first room had a cracked sink and the TV didn't work. Front desk and staff were VERY prompt / accommodating and offered us a second room. The second room was in about the same condition as the first; wall in the shower was cracked and the sink also had a minor crack, but overall was ok. The breakfast was nice enough, but the hotel has seen better days and showed it. Once again - the people were more than helpful and very pleasant, but there is only so much they can do when you have an older active hotel in need of some repair."

"First visit to this hotel and it is very beautiful inside. The gym area is a plus but no working pool. The dinning area is very nice with table and chairs, booths, lounge Area and breakfast area. Rooms are pretty decent, with microwave, sink, couch(needs shampoo treatment on the seats) and table. Nice breakfast in the morning with coffee, juice, water or milk and infused water. I do recommend and the hotel is pet friendly."

"Hotel is at least in a decent area and has a nice lobby. Staff are very friendly. Children were running loudly rampant throughout the hotel so I guess they are kid friendly. Hallways have an odor, don’t smell fresh. My room was very dated. Carpet is covered in gum, red stains and other sticky substances. Walls are kind of dingy. Air conditioner is very loud and sounds like a 747 but at least works. Window was cracked open when I walked in; has a broken outside screen, and was hard to shut, but I managed to shut it. Toilet continuously runs all night. Light bulb was out but the front desk kindly provided me with a replacement bulb. The sheets look clean so that’s good. Found someone’s hair on the counter, left it for the next guest."
