Thanks to the support of volunteer Jeff Wright, Voorhees is now open year-round and features a new parking area, entrance trail, and overlook spots. The preserve is part of the Virginia Bird and Wildlife Trail, with abundant bird species such as bald eagles and ospreys. Visitors can explore the mature hardwood forest, flowering wetland plants, and unique natural features like the two kissing trees. By becoming a preserve steward, visitors can support TNC's ongoing work to protect and preserve these natural treasures for future generations.

Please note that restrooms, offices, and buildings are closed to the public, and visitors are asked not to enter programming spaces. It is also important to take all trash with you when you leave, as there are no trash receptacles at the park.
