"Very pretty and calming. We went on an incredibly windy day in late March and no one else was there. Nice spot for some solitude or a picnic."
"It's located at the end of the road. The parking lot is just an enlarged section of the road and there aren't any lines indicating parking spaces. There's a small and shallow boat launch/ramp (I've seen only kayaks, canoes, small catamarans, sailing dingies and jon boats launched here), a few benches, and a few picnic tables. It's a small, peaceful and quiet place to hang out or have a picnic. There isn't any playground for children. I wish there was a historical plaque or a story board indicating the significance of Thomas Jefferson Rollins. Including the parking lot, the park is 1-2 acres. There's an interesting newspaper article from 1994 indicating the history and the city's plans for the site. The article is available via Google search."
"It's a very pretty park. Very well maintained and lots of lakes with fish and there's signs telling you what fish are in each lake."
