"In 2023 my Yorkie was seen at RVRC weekly to have a cast replaced for some broken toes. The care was outstanding and the staff made our visits more than tolerable. They treated him like he was special each week. Each week he got a different color cast. On Valentine's day they pasted little hearts on his cast and matched them to his vest. They made me smile. Today 2/1/2024, I took that same Yorkie in for emergency treatment because he'd been sick for way too long. Everyone was caring and helpful. Dr. Gibbemeyer met with me and explained how dire things really were. She provided the information I needed to make the major decision to end his misery. She was very comforting and did not rush me. At the end I really appreciated her, along with the other people working there. Thank you RVRC for your helpful support during this very difficult day."

"I’ve been going here weekly for visits with my friend’s dog and when I needed to take my own dog to the emergency room I only wanted to bring him to Regional. The staff is so nice and friendly and remember you to follow up on things not dog related. The emergency staff was amazing at calming me down, even over the phone with other people calling to get advice. They were very transparent about their pricing too.I love this place so much, they took such great care of my baby and “nephew”"

"We had an amazing experience at this vet today! Our cat had been having some urinary issues and we were very worried about him, luckily, we were able to have him seen quickly and assessed for any issues. All of the staff here were incredibly helpful and empathetic, and I truly felt that my cat was in excellent care (even though he is terrible at the vet). Doctor Alvarez sat down with us personally and discussed treatment options and what next steps we could take to fix the problem. I was also floored for the affordability, especially considering the quality of care provided. Overall, I would highly recommend!"

"They took such good care of my older dog Loki during the last year of his life. We had a number of emergencies come up and they were always very professional and timely in serving us given how busy they usually are. Yesterday we had to put him down. All the staff were compassionate and professional during a very difficult day for me. They were personally invested in our needs and treated us like family. "Have been to Regional several times over the span of the last 15 years. They saved the life of my husky 15 years ago. They were compassionate with us as we thought we were going to lose our little girl. She made a full recovery from ingesting a full bottle of Advil. Have a two year old lab that has the same issue. Has swallowed two balls at the dog parks. My primary vet stated that surgery was needed the first time after taking a panel of x-rays. They sent us to Regional who took us immediately. We were walking out with big smiles on our faces 20 minutes later after they induced him to throw up the ball. Same thing happened again this week, and we went straight to Regional. Same result. Took us straight in and we were on our way home within 30 minutes. Very cost conscious. The combined two emergency vet bills were less than the one at the primary vet. As a result we have changed to Town and Country on Arlington Boulevard in Fairfax."
