Gasholder Park
“Gorgeous! I stumbled here after a hard day of exploring the City. I found the huge metal structure fascinating and couldn't stop staring. The surrounding water also has a calming effect.”
Lloyd Park
“Lloyd Park is a small but beautiful park from the formal gardens at the front to the more natural areas behind there is something for everyone. It's amazing how much there is to do here because it houses tennis courts, ball courts, a skate park, a bowling green and so much more and if you need a break there's a lovely cafe & toilets and on Saturdays it hosts a market as well.”

Jubilee Park
“Stop right there!! Ok, I admit that I'm enamored with the place. From the art in public places to the relaxing sound of the many water falls, this is a place to sit and have a bite, smell the fresh air and day dream. Dozens of places to get what your mood feels like to eat. Great!!”

Valentines Park
“Came here for Parkrun, a parkrun in a stunning setting with really friendly people. Had a lovely walk and recci before and after our run. Well maintained park with lots to do. Had a cooked breakfast at Valentines cafe which soon was very busy and was great value. We then had another walk and coffee in the walled garden.”
Beddington Park
“This is possibly the best park in Greater London - great for dogs and active kids. Lots of wide open green space, woodland copses, tree-lined avenues, a small formal garden, a lake with ducks and geese, and the River Wandle flowing through (shallow enough for even small children to have safe fun). There's also a children's playground and cafe. It's everything I want from a park.”
Trent Park
“Lovely park for hot summary days or morning running. This park is huge with lots of trees or grass.”
Raphael Park
“We love this Park ,we go every time we have the chance ,kids love it . They love the play ground and the ducks. They still have some work to do at the play ground but is nice to enjoy the good weather.”

“This park is my happiest place in London :) Always a pleasure to visit - clean, safe, so many paths to wander on, gorgeous trees, happy people and dogs everywhere, tennis courts and cricket nets.”
Clissold Park
“We love Clissold Park and its goats, deers and birds. The playground is huge and great fun for all ages. The sand could be a bit nicer. Clissold Cafe has a good babychino for my little one and I cannot wait to have the paddling pool redone and open again. Great times in Clissold park. The old, huge trees are impressive as well.”
Springfield Park
“Springfield Park is a hidden gem located in the heart of London. As soon as you step foot into the park, you are transported into a peaceful and serene oasis, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. One of the things that sets Springfield Park apart from other parks in London is its stunning views. From the top of the hill, visitors can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the River Lea and the city skyline, making it the perfect spot for a picnic or a peaceful afternoon stroll. The park is also home to a range of facilities and amenities to suit all ages and interests. Children will love the playground and the splash pool, while adults can take advantage of the park's tennis and basketball courts. There is also a large open space for picnics and games, as well as a pond where visitors can spot a variety of wildlife.”
Claybury Park
“Claybury Woods is lovely and so many people are not even aware it’s there. A superb place for dog walks, nature trails and berry picking in winter with a play area for the children too. Many different types of plants and scents. A lovely place for a stroll or a summer picnic.”
Dunorlan Park
“Beautiful park in tunbridge wells. Brilliant for dog walking, family days out and so much more. Very popular and well kept. So much to do and about a 5 minute drive from the town centre if that!”
Eastbrookend Country Park
“Pleasantly surprised how well kept this park is. It’s certainly not impacted like the nearby Beam Valley park by drunks and littering. I love the little wooden sculptures popping up. Quite flat but so versatile with sectioned out structure and the pond in the middle. Pictures in early Mar, but still a nice walk.”
Belhus Woods Country Park
“Fantastic place, lovely big playground, for the kids, dog friendly with fish lakes but only day fishing pay to pack”
Belhus Woods Country Park Visitor Centre
“Lovely walk through the woods full of bluebells. Plenty to amuse the children, big lake with ducks, swans and geese and large play area with climbing frames, slides, swings etc. Parking was £3.50 for 2 hours”
Trosley Country Park
“It's a really nice forest with an amazing view. We didn't had the chance to see the animals but that view is breathtaking. Beautiful sculptures, nice music instrument area, lots of amazing trees. We had a really great time there. Few small places for kids to play. Lots of signs, benches, clean, few car parks with pay.”
St. Andrew’s Park
“I really like this park - it has a lot of beautiful old trees which also attracts birds so you feel a bit more 'in nature' than in a lot of parks. Also there is a cute little kiosk where you can get a coffee or an ice cream. Only issue is there are a lot of dogs here that are not under control - off lead and freely roaming around while their owner is not paying attention on the other side of the park. There is a section of the park where dogs are not allowed though. Also the toilets are frequently in a disgusting condition or just closed altogether which is a shame, but I guess the council just doesn't have the money to sort that out at the moment.”
Royal Victoria Park
“Always beautiful at this time of year. Nice wandering around the paths taking photos then stopping for a tea or coffee and cake at the little food stand. If you have kids, it's right next to the amazing Victoria Park.”
Henrietta Park
“Such a quiet, tranquil park tucked away. The Albert memorial garden is just beautiful. I spent a couple of hours sitting, relaxing and drawing there.”

“Beautiful scenic walk. Thoroughly enjoyed the wooded area where the Forrest floor had a blanket of white flowers ❤️ also great walk for dogs.”

“Collect park is an amazing space with beautiful mature tree, plants , shrubs. It also has a lovely duck pond, a good child's play area and a cafe for food and drinks. Love this park , and my kids love it too.”
Baggeridge Country Park
“This is a lovely place, a great place for walks all year round, also a fantastic place for picnics in the summer, it has a large playground for the kids with lots of things to do, it has a go ape area but you have to pay for that. Going back to the walks, it has lots of wooded trails and a few hills to climb, it has a great view from the top which you can see for miles on a clear day, and you can also walk in to the Himley House Estate through the forest.”

Young's Park
“Lovely place well hidden ..I would say as not many holiday makers but many local people in this exquisite cafe called Cantina just next to the park with wonderful food and lovely staff. Just behind me the kitchen with all young and well prepared chefs at work. Food is well priced and big portions ..and full of flavor. A must to visit. I loved it.”
