Nine Point Draw is a rustic campground, lodging, and park located in Alpine, Texas, United States. Situated in a beautiful and secluded area, Nine Point Draw (NP-1) offers primitive roadside sites with breathtaking views and a small flat gravel space for camping next to your vehicle. The site can accommodate 2 vehicles (including trailers) and 8 people, as well as 4 horses. Please note that there is no shade, toilets, or other amenities provided at NP-1. Additionally, the use of generators is prohibited in the backcountry. To secure your spot at Nine Point Draw, you can now obtain a backcountry permit up to 180 days in advance through www.recreation.gov. Rice Tank
Rice Tank is a primitive roadside campsite located in Big Bend National Park, Texas, United States. This campground offers beautiful views, solitude, and a small flat gravel space for camping next to your vehicle. There are no amenities such as shade or toilets provided, and the use of generators is prohibited in the backcountry. A Backcountry Permit is required to use any backcountry campsite, including Rice Tank. Rice Tank can accommodate 2 vehicles and 6 people, but no horses are allowed. The maximum vehicle length is 25 feet, and trailers are considered vehicles for site capacities. The campsite is located along the Glenn Spring Road, 4.3 miles from the pavement. The road is rocky and maintained for high clearance vehicles only, so it's important to check with a ranger for current conditions.
