"Review of Railhead Smokehouse in Fort Worth: My visit to Railhead Smokehouse in Fort Worth left much to be desired. While there were highlights, such as the super delicious banana pudding and the good smoke flavor of the brisket, there were also significant disappointments. The brisket, while adequately smoked, was unfortunately dry, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dish. Even the baked potato stuffed with brisket failed to impress, with the dryness of the meat overshadowing the flavors. However, the potato salad provided a pleasant surprise, offering a tasty alternative to the lackluster main dishes. The sides, including the green beans, fell short of expectations, with only the potato salad managing to stand out. On a brighter note, the margarita swirls were a delightful treat, providing a refreshing contrast to the meal. Unfortunately, the negatives extended beyond the food. The restroom facilities were in a state of disarray, reflecting poorly on the overall cleanliness of the establishment. Additionally, the staff appeared to be bickering amongst themselves, creating a tense atmosphere. Overall, my visit to Railhead Smokehouse was marred by dry brisket, lackluster sides, and subpar service. While there were some redeeming qualities, such as the delicious banana pudding and margarita swirls, the overall experience fell short of expectations."
"Ribs are fantastic, dry and full of flavor. The menu and restaurant is basic, you come here for the BBQ which is top rated, one of the top two in Fort Worth. Good selection of beer on tap."
"I liked the atmosphere and the restaurant was very busy for lunch time. The lunch special was nice my friend loved the chicken and I got a brisket sandwich plate meal. Prices were decent for barbecue and the brisket sandwich was solid Sides, potato salad and baked beans were very mediocre to me."
"Longtime bbq spot for delicious meats and sides. Normal menu of beef,chicken,ribs,sausage, and turkey.Price is lower than newer craft bbq locations. Can be busy at lunch and dinner times."
"Excellent Chicken!! So soft and juicy! Not dried and chewy. The fries were so yummy! If in the area and you want bbq, go check them out! Staff friendly! Tuesday special is the chicken platevwith 2 sides and a drink for $9 dollars! Awesome deal! Daily specials! Not sure of the rest of the days. Look it up, you will want great food for an amazing low price!"
