The Residence at Arbor Grove

"Lived here for 3 years. In that time I found mgmt to be biased and inconsistent with how rules were inforced. House keeping in the common areas is hit or miss with trash in the stairwells. Garbage chutes locked on different occasions because of lack of personnel l. The entire bldg is infested with roaches due to the fact that the trash chutes were originally intended to be laundry chutes. When Texas became an open carry state I asked if the bldg would be gun free and posted, was told owners were pro gun so no. I purchased a handgun for my own safety as this is not a gated community. 2 months later the bldg put up one sign on main entrance prohibiting possession of handguns in common areas. In order to be compliant signs must be posted on all entries and clearly visible. I was issued a key fob to gain entry after business hours which is absolutely a joke as half the entry doors are broken and the other half are left unlocked. Security cameras have not worked since a 0 àthe bldg opened and the manager has installed her own cameras to watch the lobby. 3 years living here I only signed one lease after that no lease was offered was told after one year I was on month to month but required to give 60 days notice if moving. Residents are constantly being threatened with 50 dollar violations for some of the most ridiculous reasons. Mgmt harrases people for cigarette smoking in apartments which is stated in the lease but you can literally get a contact high from the constant presence of burning Marijuana. My advice pass this complex on your list of housing rents just went up and nothing is getting better."

"Miss Ebony, has been great. She's very much friendly and on top of things. She has made the lounging and activities areas great. A lot of very nice additions that the residents can enjoy. I think I can speak for many of us here. Thanks Ebony, Drew, Troy and Jesse for making this 55 and up community a great place to live and play. All your hard work is appreciated. The pictures are very much accurate, although there have been many new additions furniture wise to lounging areas. IF you choose to move here please be sure to treat it with dignity and honor, this is not a dump and should be treated accordingly."
