“I have been eating at Hurricanes for 25 years and can safely say it’s still just as good as it was back then! It was my first time visiting the Circular Quay restaurant and I found it a little bit hard to locate, but that may have been because of the vivid crowds. The restaurant is nice, staff are friendly and the service is very fast. I ordered the steak and pork rib combo and was not disappointed! The ribs are still as tender and succulent as they ever have been. The sauce is delicious and the meat just falls off the bone. The steak was cooked perfectly and was basted in that familiar steak basting sauce. I missed the complimentary bread they used to serve, but overall it was an amazing meal and I will continue to be a patron for the next 25 years if the doors remain open!”

“Still Sydney's premier yakitori establishment. All your favourite cuts from Sommerlad heritage chickens - chicken that is grown slower and longer for maximum flavour. Liver is executed perfectly here, the slightest char on one side and cooked gently so that it maintains maximum smooth texture. Bonjiri is particularly excellent as well, and tsukune is spot on. There is a mix of other skewers including beef and pork belly, and it's all good. While there is chicken thigh, it is usually and oddly missing chicken breast from the printed menu which I suspect is because it is hated and more economical to use up at chaco ramen instead, no idea. There's a range of other things, chawanmushi and sashimi and wing gyoza, and it is worth coming back repeatedly. And if you are smart and able to target 5-6pm for happy hour, you can now take advantage of happy hour pricing!”

“What a great addition to Crown Street….the atmosphere is very buzzy and has a strange way of grabbing you as you walk in the door! The team are great and we’re spot on with their recommendations. We had three starters to share and we shared a main which was the perfect amount for two. All the dishes were incredible, flavoursome and a great size. The dishes we had: - Beef tartare - Campanelle - Duck rigatoni - hero dish! - Sirloin steak frites - Leaf salad and leeks What surprised me at the end was how reasonable the bill was, especially as we indulged in a few margaritas also.”

“Went with a group of four on a Tuesday evening. We were quickly seated, and food came out promptly after orders were taken. Everything was delicious, and the meats were cooked well. Would definitely be back in the future Whilst not the responsibility of the runner to know the menu, it would be have been nice for the runner to have known the differences between the day/lunch/menu, as we were originally hoping to grab some burgers. “Awesome experience. We were downtown due to a conference and I had a 3 course menu by myself. There are many selections for each course and also sides. The bread and butter as complemantary appetizer was so warm and tasty. I loved the chocolate souffle and would prefer it with a bit more ice cream. The room and the decorations were very modern and tasty also. The service was exeptional. I strongly recommend ABODE and will certainly visit again.”

“Such a cozy place with a bright and relaxing atmosphere and decorations. Although we went here just for a cuppa, looking at the menu we quickly have decided to have lunch here too. We really enjoyed the coffe qnd the food. I had octopus in garlic sauce which tasted so good I highly recommend it to any seafood lover. I will definitely go there again with my family.”

“My friend and I went to the Royal for dinner two nights in a row as we enjoyed the food so much, we had to go back. Had the rotisserie lamb should on the second night and it was delicious! As a side we chose the broccolini as suggested by a staff member and it was a great combination.”

“my partner and i visited today - not guests of the hotel - for a drink, during the school holidays. the bar was rather quiet, which is our preference, and much preferred over the first venue we tried to get a drink at which was booked out for at least another two hours (the goldfish place). we were promptly greeted at the bar by a lovely girl who quickly had as seated (seats chosen by us) and supplied with a drink menu. as quickly as we were seated we were given ice cold water and our orders were taken. we had a great time enjoying the atmosphere of the bar / lounge while we waited for our drinks to be made (which was not long). it's a very cosy and quaint place, we both really like it. a different but just as lovely girl delivered our drinks - a chilli margarita each. d e l i c i o u s! really delicious margarita, and i frequently order margaritas when we go out for drinks. i thought it was the best margarita i have had in some time. the chilli kick had the perfect amount of heat. yum. we really enjoyed our drink and stay this afternoon - especially since everyone seemed to be very Covid-Conscious. we will definitely be back for another drink soon.”

“This was our first time dining at Kingsleys. We live interstate and wanted a great dining experience while we were in Sydney. They certainly did not let us down. The scallops for my entree were amazing. The eye fillet was absolutely superb. The red we ordered was a very tasty drop which complimented my steak very VERY well. My fiance is Vegan and I had to take time to check their menu prior to booking. She most certainly wasn't let down. She said her meal was full of flavour and she certainly didn't go away hungry. The staff were great - very friendly and accomadating. Only one issue though - the toilets... they did need a clean - not that it's much of a problem. It is well worth the money and the views are fantastic. We WILL be back.”

“We had set menu, every dish had its own soul and so well prepared!! They were all fresh, tasty and delicious. Their cocktails were also refreshing. The chefs were talented and kept us entertained with their food skills. The waitress explained each dish name, she was very friendly!!! We thought the price was reasonable considering they are in Circular Quay, one of the best locations in the world!! We will be definitely coming back.”

“It is our second wedding and again the service was extra ordinary. On time , with extremely delicious and very creative decorations for the food presentation. Sai made choosing and placing the order of the food with our budget a pleasant experience, thank you so much Sai. The chefs Hani and Farsaneh together with Omer Deeb orchestrated the whole theme. Our wedding guests kept asking who made the food and asked for Al Aseel’s contact details. For sure we are coming back for our January 23 wedding of our third child. Highly recommended if you are looking for an affordable classy wedding caterers .”

“Great place for chicken, salads and burgers. I had a the Zesty burger and it was fantastic! I’m not normally a burger person as I find them too greasy but this one was fresh, good quality and reasonably priced. The sauce also is not too spicy either. Perfect for a quick lunch!”

“We were lucky enough to have Steve and the team as live caterers during our event. Everyone was absolutely blown away with the food and impressive service. Steve made sure the entire crowd was well fed and ensured everyone’s dietary requirements were well cared for. Communication was impeccable and I cannot stress how easy it was to have everything organised. The team arrived exactly as communicated and food was served straight away. Upon packup - not one piece of rubbish was left behind. Everything was swiftly packed. We will definitely recommend Steve and the team again for all our future events.”
