“Yas Bean isn't just a coffee shop; it's an Experience. Friendly vibe, delicious brunch pots, savoury delights and cakes, Instagrammable decor, a wide range of cold and drinks and gifts/merchandise. My husband says the coffee is definitely better than Aldi and I love the hot/cold chocolate depending on the season. Supporting this shop is supporting the local community as well as a local business. If you don't know their story, do look it up, and definitely give them a try if you haven't done yet!”

“Amazing experience and fine dining all in one place, friendly staff and a small select menu for a different meal experience. The food was lovely and surprisingly filling, tried a few things we have never seen, squid ink and tonka been ice cream etc. If you are after a romantic night for 2 and have plenty of spare cash it is worth a try.”

“Superb Turkish and Mediterranean food in a cool little cafe near central Macclesfield. Very authentic flavours and generous portions, all food is very fresh and prepared while you wait. Coffee is great and the big plus is it’s one of the only places I’ve found outside of London that makes real Turkish coffee. Friendly and helpful staff, very good prices.”

“Beautifully decorated and very comfortable, soft and generous bed, nice tables/chairs ro sit at, ensuite shower/toilet scrupulously clean and working well. Good WiFi and AMAZING breakfast, brought on a tray to your room, with lots of options to choose from before your stay. Great location, very close to train station. Easy to get in, you are given codes to enter before your trip. There are stairs, so please understand this for access. Friendly (and discreet!) host, very helpful. Would recommend 100%”

“I recommended the Knot Inn to my family as my husband and I had a delicious New Year's eve dinner there. Our table was for six and we chose to eat in the restaurant. We were greeted and taken to our table and asked if we would like drinks. The service is fantastic and there's a very relaxed atmosphere. I had the roast beef dinner and I have to say everything was cooked to perfection. The beef melt in your mouth and the vegetables Al dente, the roast potatoes perfect and of course you can't forget the Yorkshire puds (delicious) I must say the horseradish sauce was a true delight. As a desert I shared the sticky toffee pudding with my husband. Light and fluffy and the sauce well, what can I say like melted treacle toffee. Outstanding. I recommend anyone to try the food.”

“Genuinely one of the friendliest pubs we’ve been too. Staff couldn’t be more welcoming, food brilliant, dog friendly. We were staying locally at Welltrough Campsite and came for food and drinks on the Friday evening…so good we came back for breakfast on the Saturday and a drink after doing one of the suggested walks on their website.”
