“This one is for Laura (sorry Tom but not this time!) Laura, you were amazing today. I was advised by my Rheumatologist to get my gait analysed and buy a decent pair of running shoes. I don't even run but that didn't stop you helping me choose the right pair. I felt a little guilty walking up and down and taking your time up but you kept encouraging me to do so and advising me all the time. You listened to me which is rare these days from staff I find. No pressure either. You then very quickly gave me a selection of shoes to try. I learned a lot from you today so thank you and I will certainly be back. Someone else said in a review that staff want to be there and actually enjoy their job; I can't agree more. Laura, thank you so much.”

I ordered a few things online and within minutes I received a phone call from the owner of the company explaining one item was not available in the colour requested. Allan spent a good while on the phone explaining various aspects of trolling as I am a newcomer to offshore fishing. We agreed on a different colour lure and the order was dispatched and received a couple of days later. This is true customer service and greatly appreciated.”

“I often go to sports direct more so than anywhere else, based purely on the fact that the staff are super helpful and polite. There is no shortage of smiles when it to customer service! The staff are willing, patient and hardworking! Shoe sizing can be a tedious task ,but the staff and management here really make it that much easier as there switched on, and on the ball, one look at my feet and the sales advisor instantly knew which size I was and what shape would be most comfortable! None of that trying on shoe after shoe nonsense! Happy customer practically the first time! !!”

“Store is much neat and tidier compared to my past visits to this store and the staff are also much friendlier and helpful than in the past. They approach you almost as soon as you walk in to certain section of the store, especially the footwear; where staff asked if I need help before I had to chase someone, which is what I had to do in the past. The store is much smaller than the Bracknell one, but has wide variety of shoes, clothing and other accessories. I'd highly recommend this store for sports wear and also for casual clothing as well.”

“My daughter's North Face jacket, purchased only 2 months ago, was displaying a minor cosmetic issue. We went back to the shop yesterday to ask for advice on how to fix it. The shop manager immediately offered a refund or a replacement as she agreed there should be no quality issues so soon after the purchase. Within 5 minutes we were in and out of the shop, daughter happy with a new replacement jacket. Well done JD!”
