“Had a Christmas dinner their with friends and members who where in wheelchairs. Apart from maybe needing a couple more disabled parking spaces in the car park. Everything was amazing. Food service. Friendly staff who couldn't do more to help any of us. Would use again and recommend”

“A really comfortable stay at the former Hilton hotel now the Village hotel. The bed was comfortable, the room had an ambient temperature with a working AC. Windows kept the sound of traffic out. Couldn't hear any other guests once in our room. Everything we needed, tea, coffee, kettle and hairdryer. Ironing board and iron too. Plenty of hangers to hang your garments. Plenty of space to move around the king bed. Shower modern and functioning. Location is a little out of town, about 2 miles but there is a Sainsbury's opposite, a bar/restaurant and Starbucks on site. Parking is £5 and it's £5 per room for use of the pool and gym. Reliable brand, the new modern premier Inn.”

“Do not be put off by the unprepossessing exterior, a warm welcome awaits you here. The room we had was modern, comfortable and immaculate. The food at dinner and at breakfast was well above expectations and presented with care and skill by the charming chef, Dave. Manager Michael was equally charming and welcoming. Put all that together and you have a most enjoyable overall experience at an extremely reasonable price. If you don’t require the flattering trappings of an impersonal hotel, stay here.”

“I have such praise for Avocado properties. Having dealt with the larger rental agencies, I found them to be dishonest, sloppy in their approach and down right indifferent to their clients. All the while, happily taking your money! Not so with Avocado. They were attentive, responded swiftly to queries and concerns, and really took the time to consider and respond to our needs. This was personalised service at its very best. I highly recommend this company to those leasing their properties and to those searching for rentals. “Great cattery. Two of my cats have stayed there - my first went there for years, then got ill when he was older and Kings Cattery were wonderful, giving him comfort and his medication when we had to go away. My second cat still goes there for his holidays - I just picked him up today and he was sprawled out relaxing, totally chilled! It’s nice to know he’s going to somewhere he’s happy and comfortable. The staff are amazing - you can tell they genuinely care about the cats and know what they’re doing!”

“I lived in Winchester House for a year. It is a very nice flat even though the furniture was not included. The building is always clean and well maintained. I particularly liked the location as everything is close by: the shopping centre, the supermarket, the restaurants, the park, the train and bus station only a 10 min walk away and taxis only down the building. But most of all, this very pleasant experience at Winchester House was only possible because of the dedication and kindness of Aleks, Carmen and her husband. I am very happy to have met all of them because I met amazing people.”

“Lovely hotel. Fantastic driveway up-to the property and the building itself is beautiful. Only stayed for one night on a business trip but the staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms are clean and newly refurbished in an outbuilding, which also has a fantastic gym in there. Gym has really decent kit and good lighting.”

“This was the first time I put my cat (Ella) in a cattery, so I was anxious about leaving her but I felt reassured once I met the owner, I could tell that she clearly cared about the cats. Ella was kept safe and well.”

“Really nice hotel. Well sign posted, car park is large with big spaces. There is a covered pick / up drop off if your coming by taxi. Reception is very open and welcoming, lots of light. The triangle shaft in the middle with colours is very cool. Staff are friendly and welcoming, rooms very clean, food is good at the bar. Breakfast is nice, scrambled egg was really good, hotels usually dont get this right! Overall really good hotel.”
