"Room is clean Stay was not great was not aware this was pet friendly so had to endure a guest with noisey little dogs No resturant not good so no dinner or breakfast"

"Room was basic at best. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the location was sound and close to amenities. However, I was there on business doing some civil work for the salvation army and was extremely disappointed at the fact the hair and body soap provided in the rooms was watered down to a point where it was almost impossible to get a lather up to wash myself. Being -5°c outside this was an extreme aggravation as all I wanted after a cold wet muddy days work, was a nice shower but instead was fuming at not being able to enjoy that. Hope it's not a problem that continues"

"Clean and tidy. This kind of hotel is quite miserable no life and no cafe etc. shame. Only walking distance shop is a Shell fuel station which of course a rip off for snacks and drinks. Slept good!"

"The guy on reception doesn't speak English. I asked to change rooms and he didn't understand. At all. Rooms on one side are bang on the main road and the ropey old double glazing keeps very little noise out. No net curtains so everyone who stops at the traffic lights looks directly in to my room. I could deal if I'd paid £40, but it was double that. I should know better than to book a Travelodge."
