“Today I had the misfortune of getting a rather large hole in the side wall of my van tyre. I limped along the Eastern Road to a lay-by and gathered my thoughts on how to resolve this situation. After a Google I found Solent Motor Services (SMS) who had a mobile tyre replacement service. After sharing my predicament with the SMS office person I was informed that they could get me going again but I would have to wait. After 75 minutes or so Sam arrived to carry out the tyre replacement. Sam was friendly, professional and his happiness was infectious no sooner had her arrived my van was jacked up and the wheel was off and undergoing removal from the rim in the back of the mobile workshop. The tire was quickly replaced balanced and back on the van so I could carry on with my day. I would have no hesitation in calling SMS again for my vehicle needs. If all the staff are like Sam then you would fool to go anywhere else. The invoice included the call out, tyre and fitting and I thought was very reasonable to say the least. Thank you Sam and all at SMS”

The guys were friendly throughout and called me up within a couple of hours to diagnose the exact problem and inform me they had fixed it there and then. “Danny was great from start to finish, I had my boiler replaced and he gave me an honest and reasonable quote. When he came to do the work and realised that all of the quoted work was not required, he let me know straight away and adjusted the job/price accordingly. He turned up on time and was very polite and tidy throughout, keeping me updated on how the job was going. He also adjusted some radiator pipes for me which I only mentioned once he was here, with no issue. Overall, I am very happy with Danny's work and will be using him again for any plumbing/heating work in the future.”
