“I chose this group as I wanted to get my little one excited about stories from a young age. He has developed so much and now sits (mostly still!) whislt listening to Lisa bring the stories to life. She use of props during the stories is excellent. The different trays of actives each week all linked to the story is a great way to encourage play with different textures, shapes and items. The messy play is by far our favourite as baby gets to well get messy, and I only have to worry about wiping him down! Each tray is clearly well thought out and a great addition to the story. The dark den is a win with most of the baby's as the lights are really attractive to them. This is an excellent baby group, and I would recommend it to anyone (mum, dad or grandparent) who are looking to support babies development whislt having fun. I've seen my little one develop through the term which is amazing. Thank you Lisa for putting together such an incredible group.”

“Today was the first time coming to this barbers and they definitely lived up to expectations. They listened to what style I wanted , and they sure did deliver. The man who I was getting a trim from wasn’t lazy about it and was very keen willing to go the extra mile to impress his customer. He cut my hair with real passion. “We have just held a birthday party at Little Street Chichester for 16 x 4 year olds. The staff were amazing and made the whole session really enjoyable for the kids and the parents. Would thoroughly recommend for a birthday party - the staff really go the extra mile to ensure everyone has a great time.”

“I have some memories from when my Grandparents lived in Portsmouth, but as they moved away in 2004, I didn't get to go back here for many years, even though I regularly visit the city with my family. Now that I'm studying in Southampton, it's easier for me to travel into Portsmouth on my own, and the cathedral was one of the things that I desperately wanted to do. The outside never disappoints because of its stunning architecture, but the inside is just how I remembered it from when I was a child, and it'll always remain one of my favourite places of worship to visit! Plus I'd love to give a massive thanks to all the volunteers who run the cathedral and keep it in fantastic shape!”

“It’s a lovely looking building - especially at night with the lights. I’ve been here for several events now and the staff are always friendly. They are very accessible and even offer an autism booklet with pictures online to prepare you for your visit. I love the variety of events they hold here and their website is easy to navigate.”

“Jack was absolutely fantastic when I brought a large group on Friday. We had some issues prior to arriving but Jack was able to organise and coordinate everyone brilliantly and ensured we got in as quickly and safely as possible. He also ensured all our kids had an amazing time. Made the visit so much easier and I can't thank him enough!”

“Attended New Year's Eve party and it was excellent value. Easy check-in, nice (upgraded) room with excellent shower and comfy bed. Limited clothes storage and no complimentary bottled water. Decent tea and coffee. Very good meal, great Rat Pack show plus disco. Well staffed bar. Free parking. Pleasant buffet style breakfast. Recommended.”

“This facility in the hotel in open until 10pm. We can't fault this pool, when we went we were the only people in there so had the whole place to ourselves. The pool is shallow enough to touch the floor at both ends so much safer for children & nonswimmers like myself. The hottub was lovely too, only downside is the staff have to turn it on from behind their desk so you may have to wait until they see you in there or go find someone. The Sauna & Steamroom also really great. At the time we visited, the showers in the changing rooms had no hot water buy we simply showered on our rooms before & after instead, complimentary towels are always offered to hotel guests, simply ask at reception.”

“Not the most promising location close so close to the motorway, but this is a welcoming, comfortable and immaculate hotel close to Portsmouth. Friendly welcome at check in, with two adjacent rooms as we were visiting as a family. Large, well decorated rooms with air conditioning, good sized bathroom and This Works toiletries. Rooms have desk, armchair and large flat screen TV. The family room (2 x double bed) only had one beside table, between the two beds - a shelf for the other sides of the beds would be a useful addition for glasses or phones. Hotel is about 5 mins walk from an out of town shopping centre with large Tesco supermarket and cafes. Don't forget to validate your car parking so that you aren't charged.”

“A really wonderful group session for parents/guardians and bubs. My first class with my baby due to lockdown and was a bit nervous at first going, but immediately felt at ease. The stories each week are always super fun and interactive, with five or so sensory items for the babies to play with during the story. Afterwards we then get to take the little ones to various different sensory areas with loads of different items in corresponding to the story. There's also a messy play area, and a fab blackout sensory tent with lots of fun lights! My baby thoroughly enjoyed himself and got to interact with other little ones, and I got to meet some wonderful mums! Thanks to Lisa for putting on such a great class, I'm already signed up to the next one!”

“Highly recommend The Pretty Party Space as it’s great for little ones to have fun and us grown ups can relax and have a nice cuppa, knowing they are safe and everything is in one place. Prices are reasonable and there are lots of different events to choose from. There are also some bits for sale by local small businesses which is a really nice touch.”

“I can not recommend The Limetree highly enough. Michelle, Tash, Parames & Georgie have created a wonderful, fun and nurturing environment for all the children. The nursery has a real emphasis on outdoor play and you can see the team go to so much thought and effort to entertain the children rather than leaving them to amuse themselves. There are pictures posted weekly on a private group which capture exactly what your child has been up to. As a new parent leaving my child for the first time, they gave me complete confidence and put my mind at ease. A truly fantastic nursery and one which I’m so happy my child is part of.”

“Stayed as part of a Paultons Park Peppa Pig World weekend. Hotel looks dated from the outside, but the room was excellent. We were allocated a premium family room which was great. Two big single beds, one big double and a sofa. Room included a fridge. We were able to use the pool in the morning which the kids enjoyed. The breakfast was your standard buffet style, but was included in the price so all good. It's a great location and we nipped out for dinner at a really nice Chinese restaurant not too far away. We were in Portsmouth/Southampton for the Great South Run weekend. This hotel is on the route and imagine is a great base for that. Definitely be back when next in the area.”
