“Favourite beach in Devon. Convenient expansive parking with a lovely cafe/restaurant overlooking the beach. Beach itself is expansive and beautiful with a soft fine pebble which is comfortable to lie on without the mess associated with sand. Water is perfectly clear and plenty of places to explore nearby on kayak/paddle board (which you can hire out on the beach itself).”

“Quiet and peaceful luxury holiday park in a fantastic location . Located a few steps from Bovisand beach and the South West Coastal Path. Short drive to Mountbatten with free parking where you can access Plymouth Centre easily via the foot passenger ferry . Plenty of places to visit in the area if you can drag yourself away from Bovisand. Can't wait to go back.”

“We used to be members of another nearby club and decided to give China Fleet a go. Way better than anything else you find in this area. Their facilities are state of the art and the place is family friendly which is an important factor for us. I would think we will stay members here whilst we live in this area. Great team, great facilities, great food also.”

“Good, friendly little gym. Cardio room, weights room, excellent range of equipment, clean and air conditioning. Fabulous pool with sauna and steam rooms, all at very good prices. Love it here, I come most days.”

“Lovely little quiet hidden gem of a bay and beach, cafe was cute with nice sweet treats, we visited in mid October so was quiet.. sat on the beach post a coffee in the Autumn sunshine then as we got into the car a we watched a torrential downpour across the bay… natures autumnal beauty…”

“Visited this art deco lido whist staying in Torquay. Beautiful 50m by 50m salt water pool. Yes a little cold but once your in there it's lush. The staff were helpful and professional. Would defo go there especially if a fan of visiting lido's. Right on the seafront.”

“Unfortunately not very impressed, I have been using this club on and off for several years now and whilst I enjoy using it for its various large and fruitful facilities, I now have to say that a number of staff appear to be very rude and obnoxious. For absolutely no reason today I had just finished my swim and noticed some verbal abuse going on much to my dismay, needless to say I was walking through the corridor and a chap who I see there regularly with a beard and tattoos walked past me during the situation and gave me a funny look for no apparent reason, I do pay good money to use these facilities and unfortunately i was not impressed by this episode. I am also not very pleased with a chap who works as a lifeguard, who seems to have a real people problem and lacks customer service skills severely having been rude affecting others around him consistently.”

“Always a great place to work out. Lots of machines available. Not too busy if you avoid very early in the morning or early evening. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Clean facilities.”
