“I discovered this awesome club about 3 years ago. I was grieving the loss of my wife and brother who had both died recently. I didn't know what to do with myself so I spontaneously joined up. I was made to feel very welcome and really enjoyed it. I particularly enjoyed the mindfulness sessions and have since spent many hours floating around taking photos. The club is well run with a real emphasis on staying safe. I feel safe to laugh, shout, be quiet or cry there. There is a real community feel and absolutely no judgement whatever your swimming ability or body shape. A friend recently told me that since spending time at the lake I appear happier, more relaxed and positive. The club has evolved now offering full moon swims and saunas and there is the fantastic Wired on Wheels offering great coffee and snacks post dip.”

A few months on and she’s now achieved her 5m unaided, confidently goes underwater and looks forward to her lessons every week. It’s been magical to watch her confidence and skills develop and how willing she is to try new things. Gill is a wonderfully patient teacher who forms lovely relationships with her pupils. “Brilliant pool Lots to do. Wave machine every 30mins. Slow gradiant into the water lifeguards at hand and can see the whole pool. Very relaxing with the tropical scenery. Great way to really relax”

We then popped to our room and a lovely lady tidied our room we feel so well cared for. All the staff are so welcoming. We are definitely coming back here and hope the staff realise how they contribute to our stay..they are a lovely team...”

“My little girl loves this place . We have been going since it opened and my girl has grown so much I'm confidence. She is very routine based and the staff work with us amazingly. The staff are friendly and cannot do enough to help. Very approachable. The fact I can see her progress when we log in is a bonus and we can see what we need to do to move up. We have always been informed of staff changes etc as soon as they could. The fact that the teachers when not in the pool are also seen around the pool etc helped my girl transition to macey when Sophie left (plus the handover between teachers) . “Gym is top tier. No waiting times for equipment and still quiet in peak times. Good steam room, sauna and pool however the latter can be marginally overcrowded on the weekend. 5/5 over all far better than the usual big gym chains, definitely worth the extra”
