She gave us time to discuss our options without pressure. This is the second hot tub we have bought through this company and Liene made the process very easy. “This is an absolutely amazing facility to have - and hats-off to all of the volunteers and others who keep this going. We had a great time; our 4-year-old was able to stand easily at the shallow end; and at the deep end my eldest two were able to practise their diving as it is 2m. Also, coffee, tea and ice creams (plus other snacks) available.”

My daughter is 5 and loves it too, she can stand up in part of the shallow end. Helpful and friendly staff too. Definitely going to be there all summer!”

“Very serene beach. Overlooking the bay, a bit rocky. Some picnic benches helps to add magic to this beach. The grassy fields overlooking it are also ideal for families. No food sold here.”

“Definitely take a wander down across the rocks to check out this 120 year-old, Victorian era sea pool! Still open for swimming to this day, but if like us you visit in the winter, it's a little cold for that, still great to look around though and take some photos!”

“A fantastic area, great panorama looking over Mount Edgecome, the Breakwater and Mount Batten. There is no life guard at the pool, but it is frequently used by wild swimmers, scuba divers or just those wanting to paddle. There are public toilets by the pool and a cafe with car parking for its customers. Alternatively it's a short stroll from Royal William Yard or Devils Point car park. There is wheelchair accessible walkways but it is stairs down to the water and pool. A pretty location worth exploring.”

“I started sea swimming with Jason back in October. I do both the group sessions and 1-1. I have always been a good swimmer, but I’m out of shape and know never to take the sea for granted. He has excellent sea and local knowledge that I have found useful. I feel safe during my lessons and I think I have improved a lot. I have seen him coach both newbies with no experience and strong swimming pros, and he is a great teacher to both. These lessons in my opinion are essential if you are looking to swim regularly in the sea. Well worth the money.”

“Great spot for lunch. Friendly service and good value for money. If you plan to check out the Fort it's a nice spot to stop for a meal or a light snack. They also sell drinks, chocolate bars and other light items you can take with you of you are out hiking.”
