It helps when managing an ongoing condition to have a doctor that is not only a specialist on your condition but also treats his patients with dignity and respect. "I found the staff to be helpful, friendly and very supportive. The atmosphere is positive and upbeat as the office staff seem to function as a team. They clearly operate on a high level of efficiency. It is also obvious how the office staff, technicians and Doctors pull together to support patients as needed. Dr. Beardsley is not only very skilled and a wizard at what he does, but he is empathetic, kind and has a beautiful relaxed demeanor which is very calming. In addition his sense of humor and expertise helped me relax into the procedure I had to have done. I had a hole and tear in my retina leaking blood, which brought on eye floaters and lots of small dots in a film on my eye. Within 3 days of reporting the occurrence to my Doctor, he referred me to Dr Gross at Eugene Eye Center and then Dr Beardsley at Oregon Eye Consultants to perform the repair before it got worse. I felt extremely taken care of and although I don't look forward to more eye issues, I do look forward to being cared for by Dr Beardsley and the super staff there. "This office has always been excellent. From my procedure, which was admittedly a bit scary, to all my exams, all of the staff have been friendly and helpful. I was prompted though to write a review because my last visit was exceptional. I dropped my headphones in the exam room and the really nice technician took the time to hunt me down and return them. One of the many things the staff at this place does that goes above and beyond. Even though eye exams truly aren't pleasant, this place really tries to make the experience as nice as possible."
