"Excellent attention. No much of a wait"
"BOOTS ON THE GROUND "No coffee. Really?" It displeases me to notice that those in charge of our US Military Food Services budget strategies, within its proverbial future, have another "Band-Aid" falling off. These are military-wide food services that directly affect the humanitarian welfare of all statuses, regardless of pay grade and location. With its moralistic and mental cognizant future, the transformation may appear to be successful, but the overhaul is failing. Of course, it's not a perfect world, it's not Steak and 5-star dining that we joke around about. It's continuity. It's quality with nutritional value. It's proper food service training and hospitality. It's 2024. Not 1824. Notice petitioned for review at Dayton, Ohio. VA Medical Center Food Services Complaint US Army Combat Veteran"
"I'm usually not that guy but I've been in three VA systems over the last 20 years (Columbus, OH; Atlanta; and Wichita,KS) and this Dayton system seems to really not have it together. I was told 10 days ago that someone will call... didn't happen. I call today and spend 40 min. to get to someone who then says, someone will call in 48 hours. I mention that for me, it's a 110 hour wait. Her comment was to call back if no one calls (which is what I was doing from the first time.) If they don't call it will be over 15 days from visit to possible response after two (2) escalation requests!"

"We have used this VAMC for two Veterans in our immediate family and have received the BEST support with each visit. I encourage to Veteran and family members of Veterans to visit the eligibility desk to verify your eligibility status. Many Veterans are qualified to receive medical care and additional monetary benefits but have not applied. An appointment with the very helpful eligibility team could be life changing to a Veteran."
