DeWitt Cabin Parking
DeWitt Cabin Parking is a parking facility located in Oxford, Ohio, United States. It is situated near the entrance to the Silvoor Biological Sanctuary, a beautiful 2.5-acre tract of land that houses an extensive wildflower garden and offers scheduled wildflower walks each spring. The parking lot is also close to the Bachelor Wildlife and Game Reserve, a 416-acre area donated by Dr. Joseph M. Bachelor to preserve habitat diversity for native plants and wildlife. Additionally, the parking lot provides easy access to College Woods, Western Woods, Beck Reserve, and other natural areas managed by Miami University. Visitors can explore hiking trails, enjoy scenic overlooks, and observe a variety of plant and animal species in these preserved areas. The DeWitt Cabin, the oldest standing log cabin in the Oxford area, is also a short distance from the parking lot and is open to visitors on Sunday afternoons during the summer months.
