Nestled within the heart of the Thousand Islands region, our preserve offers a unique opportunity to explore nature along seven miles of multi-use trails, thoughtfully developed on the historic bed of the New York Central Railroad. Directions to the Preserve: From Clayton, head south on State Route 12 for half a mile until you reach East Line Road, where the Victorian Gas & Convenience Store marks the corner. Turn left onto East Line Road and continue for 0.8 miles to find TILT's trailhead parking area for the Sissy Danforth Rivergate Trail and S. Gerald Ingerson Preserve.
