"Heard good things about this place. After I was diagnosed at the ER with a herniated disc and am suffering mobility issues and extreme pain, I was referred to Dr. Qandas office. They screwed me over, so I tried to get in with SOS. After I sent over my imaging, they declined to even accept me as a patient. Back to the drawing board. Unsure why they'd refuse to even allow me to be seen. Maybe one-day I'll be able to be seen by a doctor who actually cares. Update: I received the letter today explaining why they refused to see me. In the letter, they stated I was seeking a second opinion from original diagnosis and treatment plan. I was never seen by the CNY Brain and Spine. They never diagnosed me and they never gave me a treatment plan. I was neither seeking an alternative treatment option, nor was I seeking a secondary opinion. I just want to be seen and have my pain treated in the first place. I'm going to have to consider this as a blessing in disguise...they obviously do not care about their patients and are only out for money."

"Jacob Kurtz, PA, whom I saw last month, was courteous, friendly, and awesome. Seeing him was a pleasure. After examining my shoulder, he thoroughly explained everything to me. I wanted another simple cortisone injection, but he said that because my shoulder hadn't improved in two years, he recommended a cortisone injection straight to the muscle and informed me that surgery was an option, so I chose the cortisone injection to help with the pain. I will look into surgery later. So, he gave me the paperwork and after my insurance approved it, a young lady called me with all the information for my next appointment."
