"Information/Security Desk lady was extremely rude and made me cry. She was also rude to the people who were in front of me. She said I wasn't in the system when I actually was. Then, she shamed me for crying. She tried to turn me away because I didn't have a piece of paper saying I had an appointment. One of the nurses from MRI had to come down and get me because the lady wouldn't let me in. They need to hire security personnel who have more compassion for the patients coming to this hospital. They have no idea what every individual person is going through. Please hire Security / Check In personnel who are kinder than what I experienced today. The nurses, techs, doctors, and sign in personnel in the MRI department were very kind and compassionate and did their jobs flawlessly and I appreciate the work that they do"

"You guys are the worst hospital in Syracuse how do I make an appointment 3 days ago and no one calls me back and I end up having an eptopic pregnancy where almost died so my lawyer has been contacted. You guys are the worse.... I got proof how I was Neglected by your staff and your phone staff so you guys will be caring from my lawyer"

"Please don't waste your time or money with St Joe's Family Practice. Especially with Ryan Planner and the staff. Lazy and worst of all never address your medical issues or concerns. They can't be bothered to give you any of your test results or even explain them if you are lucky enough to get them back And God forbid you need a refill on the meds he prescribed for you it's a waste of time. Please, please, please find another group of Drs. Your life just might depend on it."

"If I could give no stars I would. I am posting this as a last resort to get someone's attention in Patient Relations. I have been a patient here for almost two years and I am entirely dissatisfied with every single person I have dealt with, all the way up to the Patient Relations Department. I was first incorrectly billed in October 2020 for what was supposed to be my first well visit. It was billed as a new patient visit instead of the free well visit everyone usually gets with their insurance deductible. I have been dealing with individuals in BOTH of the billing departments (why in Gods name are there TWO entities dealing with my insurance and billing information?) since October of 2020, even though they seem to have no record of my contact with them until December of 2020. Lost paperwork, lack of communication for a $500+ dollar bill, and an absolutely disgusting lack of regard for their patients' financial wellbeing are all qualities alive and well here. I have since contacted the hospital's Patient Relations Department via email and by phone, and have yet to receive a response from them regarding this incident. I refuse to pay anything on this bill, as it was supposed to be my yearly physical. I have been made to wait an HOUR for my exit paperwork on at least two occasions while visiting with different residents here, making me late for appointments or work. I should have been assigned a resident or physician on first appointment with this institution, and I have yet to be assigned to a regular doctor. I was not properly evaluated for a mental condition, as no paper evaluations or physical evaluations took place prior to my being prescribed medication for it. I was only asked why I thought I had the illness. I am absolutely disgusted with the time I have wasted here. Please do not go here unless you want to wait hours for service and be billed incorrectly, and if you wish to be left handicapped by their customer service in every possible facet you can think of."

"Registration office will violate your rights and shrug it off like they don't care at all. Took my daughter in for a well child check up and gave them a court order for a legal name change and they outright refused to accept it at all, which legally they can't do. Waited for 50 minutes to get called back for a SCHEDULED appointment, didn't see the doctor until we'd been there for over an hour and a half!!! My 1 year old and I were there for almost 2 1/2 hours for a well child check up before we move. We were in the waiting room before her appointment at 3:15 and didn't walk out of the building until close to 5:30 pm! Now in order to have her medical records for her new doctor after we move I have to go down to the medical records office in person because they refused to accept a court order for a name change and stated they would only accept a state ID or a social security card. The attitude of the staff is rude and uncaring beyond measure as well. DO NOT BRING YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!"
