"UPDATE: Dr Sultan contacted me and discussed the incident, as well as my situation, at length. I am satisfied that the practice takes this seriously and will ensure it doesn’t occur again to anyone else. I found Dr Sultan to be engaging and dynamic and welcomed his perspective. Hopefully they incorporate his vigilance and nimbleness. I consulted them for a second opinion on my treatment for major depression. I logged on for my second video session and the person never showed up. I didn’t get any notice, text , nothing. Trying to find an actual contact was difficult but I emailed — someone— it’s a very vague, loose practice it seems! I heard back a day later with “oh we’ll get in touch with your provider there was an emergency sorry” What if I was in dire need to talk? What if I were suicidal? They just left me hanging with no contact from the person I was supposed to see. Astoundingly unprofessional. Evidently patients are an anonymous roster of paychecks for them. I would never recommend this practice— beware."
