"I normally have good experiences here with my doctors. However when leaving my house (early with time to spare!) I realized the train by me was experiencing huge delays. I immediately took an alternate route but knew that I was going to end up being about 10 mins late. I called them and they said that’s fine your doctor has a 15 minute grace period. Awesome. I continue on an almost one hour trip and get there within the grace period. Turns out that isn’t true! The receptionist mentioned that the call center often gives patients the wrong information. WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE CALL CENTER THEN. So I wasted hours of my day when I could have stayed home knowing I wouldn’t make it in time. UPDATE YOUR CALL CENTER. ITS NOT HARD TO NOT MISLEAD PEOPLE AND ITS CLEARLY AN ONGOING ISSUE THAT PEOPLE WHO WORK THERE ARE AWARE OF BUT APPARENTLY NO ONE DOES ANYTHING ABOUT IT."
"I’ve always had an excellent experience at this location - from the admin staff up front, to the incredible health care providers. I love that all of my healthcare needs are in one place. And the space is amazing, it does not feel clinical - warm, welcoming, clean, and modern."
"If you have a 15-minute grace period policy, you should respect it! You can't tell me when I am 14 minutes late (ready to go in!) that the grace period is 15 minutes and I'll have to reschedule. Seriously?? And when I pointed out that it had only been 14 minutes, until I finished my sentence and until she moved her eyes to find the clock, she looked at me and said slowly, "Oh, now it's already 15, she will not let you in". Life happens. Each appointment is scheduled around work hours, finding a babysitter, commuting, etc., and having a 15-minute grace period is appreciated and, to be honest, makes sense, especially when you're located in NYC! There was a parade or some kind of event at Washington Square Park, and a few streets were closed, which made the taxi driver drive around, causing my taxi ride to take longer than it would have. I arrived at 2:44 (my appointment was scheduled for 2:30), for which I was, of course, sorry. There were other times I waited for the doctor to see me or for the assistant who made me sit in the examination room while she went to grab the printed documents, only to realize, 15 minutes later, when she came back to clean that she had forgotten about me. My point is - we are all human beings. No one can provide perfect service, and clients understand that. So why would you be so inflexible and dismissive when it comes to respecting your own grace period policy? The receptionist asked me on my way to the door if I was going to reschedule before leaving... I'll go to a place that knows how to treat patients! not here!"
"My doctor is excellent. My nurse is excellent. The practice itself is terrible. I received an abnormally high bill, and when I requested an itemized bill, I was told to call billing & they front desk (lovely girl!) stated she couldn’t provide it. I’m unsure why you cannot provide a receipt for services rendered but… I did as she requested. I sat in the waiting area and I called them. I was transferred six times in 30 minutes. No resolution, answer, or explanation. Seeing as they would do nothing to resolve the issue… I looked up the charges on my chart, they added tests I never had done and appointments I never had. I had to screenshot after visit summaries which DO match my approved claims on insurance, but DO NOT match my bill. Similar to another patient, there is no way to address fraudulent charges. I’m in limbo and too tired to argue. I am on the fence about continuing care here. Which is honestly sad because my doctor is excellent, it just sucks that the health care system she’s associated with is so terrible to patients. Conclusion: My insurance will cover the difference. Apparently the doctor I was billed under (not my doctor, idk who he is) was out of network. Too tired to argue. Reading other reviews I realize this is just a common practice here, & by staying I’m at risk of it repeating… So looking for another specialist to switch to next year. :)"
"My doctors and nurses have always been nice but I am planning to find new care. First of all - I always arrive 15 minutes early and have had to wait 15-30 minutes after my appointment was suppose to take place. Secondly, I always come in with a list of my concerns that I want addressed and usually leave with little to no answers, referrals for procedures that I am forced to come back to review to be told I can’t have a definitive answer because of an already existing factor. We did they sent me out for testing if that was going to be the case? They just want to run the bill up and send you out the door without proper answers that you pay for. I know that’s the general health care system in this country but very frustrated with my experience lately."
