"1515 Walnut is a unique, small apartment community located at the north end of the Crossroads district. In an era of increasingly corporate and banal living options in the downtown area, 1515 Walnut is a breath of fresh air, and sets itself apart in myriad ways. First, the landlords are *local* and they care about their property, its condition, and very importantly are responsive to tenant requests. Because they care, they also attract high quality tenants. I cannot overstate the importance of this facet. You simply will not find a commensurate experience with a corporate run property. Second, the aesthetic of the building and the units therein is unique, with a blend of modern and some historical elements. The units are loft style with high ceilings, clean lines and concrete floors. Each unit has a large private patio, which is *very* hard to find in the downtown area. Many people who I've brought to the property asked if there were units available. It's that unique of a building amongst the derivative and boring designs cropping up all around. Finally, the property location is simply the best. I've lived in many areas of downtown and Crossroads in Kansas City. I know of no other location I'd prefer over 1515 Walnut. Everything one would ever want to do is within walking distance, and failing that a hop on the streetcar away. If you crave that pedestrian-urban lifestyle, 1515 Walnut is a stellar place to call home."
