"I recently brought my meticulously maintained 2001 Chevy Suburban with 39,000 miles to Krown Rust Control in Rochester Hills for their rustproofing service. After extensive online research, I was determined to find a rust control solution that went beyond superficial coatings, one that would thoroughly penetrate every crack, seam, and crevice to halt any existing rust. My search led me to Krown, and I am glad that it did. Before arriving, I expressed my desire for a superior application, and to my satisfaction, I was invited into the shop where the Krown team graciously demonstrated their meticulous process. I was impressed by the attention to detail and thoroughness of their work. During the application they covered my driver’s seat, floor, and steering wheel to protect them and upon completion of the rustproofing process, I was pleasantly surprised to find that they had diligently cleaned any overspray from the exterior, leaving my Chevy Suburban looking as if it had just rolled off the showroom floor. "Update - responding to the owners reply - I will now drop my 3 stars down to 1 due to your reply / lack of ownership. There was a misunderstanding with the “free” conversation, he was referring to being told if it rusts through, the warranty spray/replacement would be free. Not the trailer spray we get every year. This was cleared up with a quick phone call to me. The reason we found you years ago was a referral from a coworker who also used you with the $160 price on the trailer at another location. Raising it to $250 and saying your $/linear.ft (our trailer price) has always been the standard is not true. If it’s been that way for “years” then why is it not on your website? VERY sketchy. As said in my initial review, we appreciated the discount & would’ve left happy. Why I left this review is due to the multiple incidents after that, the lack of care for our vehicles. Where is the response to the grease spots left all over the INSIDE of my vehicle? Also, all 3 vehicle floor mats were filthy, the clump of mud in one was just the icing on top - so no, a mat did not just slip, none were used in any vehicle. It’s clear from your response that you do not take any ownership for the lack of care while performing work on our vehicles. Prior years, much better care was given and consistent pricing too. We will take our $600/yr & all the people we referred here and go elsewhere. To anyone reading this review, I’d try another location or somewhere entirely different. It’s evident this "new management" needs some training. Original review - Was a loyal customer for many years, brought at least 3 vehicles & a very large enclosed trailer each year, never had an issue. The main guy I use to speak with no longer works there. This time, there was a large price discrepancy from previous years. All years prior we were paying the same amount $159.95 for the trailer as we were for the truck. This time they said (as it’s being worked on) it’s $250. No where on the website does it say that. Thankfully, a one-time discount was given and we appreciated the quick resolution. Would’ve left happy. Upon pick up, we see these black spots all over the INSIDE of the Malibu. I don’t know how this was not noticed or cleaned up. Apparently they also don’t use those paper floor mats anymore when getting in vehicles, our other car had a clump of mud on the floor mat. Lastly, looking at the trailer we see the black product they spray the vehicles with just covers up the rust. Our trailer is a brand new 2021 and we’ve brought it to krown every year. It sits under a covered area and never driven in snow/salt. Why is there rust? Perhaps I misunderstand what this product does, but I cant justify paying $250/year anymore if it’s still going to rust. There’s other options out there for that price."

"I have been battling rust on my vehicle for a couple years now and recently had it repaired. I had been researching Krown for a good while and now more than ever I wanted to start investing in it to prevent the corrosion from resurfacing again. I was very nervous as I had never had a service like this performed, but the team at Krown Rochester Hills put my mind at ease and gave me confidence in their product. They were able to get me in within a week and I was in and out in only 45 minutes!! The Owner is directly involved and answered my millions of questions on the phone and was open to finding alternative spray locations to minimize drilling. The team here is incredibly nice and the best part is that they have a clear, genuine passion in what they do; they want to help protect vehicles from our harsh Michigan winters. Their personal vehicles are even clear evidence that their product works! Extra bonus: the undercarriage of my vehicle looks better than it probably has in years!! Time will tell how the product protects my vehicle, but I'm very glad I decided to connect with the team here and I couldn't be more happy with the service they provided me. I'm looking forward to seeing you again in a year!!"
