Market Governance:
The Public Market Advisory Commission (PMAC) advises the market, comprising vendors, regular customers, and neighborhood representatives. Meetings are held monthly and are open to the public, with virtual sessions planned for 2024.
Future Developments:
Efforts are underway to winterize the market to expand vendor stall capacity year-round. Proposals include roll-down sides for weather protection and overhead heating, although feasibility is still under review due to cost and energy-use constraints.

"Just by looking at the display of these agricultural products, you can tell that the farmers here have a considerable level of brand knowledge and aesthetics."
"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an awesome location! We stumbled upon the Ann Arbor Farmers Market on a Sunday afternoon after checking out TripAdvisor, where it was listed as one of the top things to do in the area. Upon arriving downtown, we were greeted by a plethora of vendors, from food and artisan crafts to clothing and everything in between. Parking can be a bit tricky. We fiddled with an app to pay for parking but ended up walking to the kiosk instead. Only then did we find out that parking is free on Sundays, which should probably be noted on all signage to save time and confusion. Once we sorted out parking, we had an incredible time exploring the Farmers Market. The main building includes a market downstairs with a restaurant, meat department, artisan vendors, a pizza joint, and a fish market. Upstairs, there are even more vendors to check out. Overall, this place is a fantastic way to spend 3 to 4 hours. Even if you don't buy anything, just walking around and soaking in the ambiance is a treat. We enjoyed visiting with the vendors, checking out all the unique items, and discovering things we'd never seen before. If you have the chance, I highly recommend visiting the Ann Arbor Farmers Market. They're open every Sunday and Wednesday, and you definitely won't be disappointed!"
"Great farmers market, especially at Christmas time. I always get Pirogies there for our Christmas Eve dinner. During the rest of the year you can get tons of fresh food, small gifts and handmade items."
"A great selection of small gifts, fresh fruits and vegetables, season flowers and delicious snacks. One hour would be enough to explore the entire market. Parking can be challenging and I try to park few streets away. It has a great vibe for a Saturday stroll."
