“Firstly I think it’s important to note this is a cafe that is connected to a family support centre and counselling service. It’s cheap and it is supposed to be somewhere accessible for people who access the services next door, as well as for anybody who uses the park. I actually came here not because of this but because I had attended a baby class in the adjoining room, so my friend and I had coffee and cake here. It’s a great little place, so cheap and the staff are friendly too. There’s a seating area outside as well for warmer days. It’s a lovely little cafe if you’ve had a walk in the park or want to meet a friend with your little ones. They also offer a range of food and I’ve-cream in summer, but we always went primarily for coffee and cake, both of which were always spot on. We used to go here every week after baby classes, and will continue to do so after Covid. This cafe definitely deserves our support so that it stays open in the future.”

“My partner and I had a wonderful evening at Borage. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming and Veronika runs the dining room with warmth and efficiency. The food is superb with first class flavours and presentation accompanied by excellent wine. All of this at incredibly affordable prices makes it an experience not to be missed! “Would 100% recommend. Really good value for money, premises and bedroom/bathroom/showers all spotless. Bed sheets clean and very obviously freshly dressed. Garden beautiful. Just wished our plans gave us the opportunity to enjoy the premises for longer. Would definitely recommend opting in for the breakfast, fantastic value for money and the owner was very keen to cater for personal or dietary needs. Very welcoming.”

“We stopped in here for a late lunch and were pleasantly surprised. The service was outstanding and had we had more time we would have kept chatting with our server. This was made perfect by the quality and taste of the 3 dishes we had. The Babaghanouj, Bourak and Maklubeh were outstanding! We’d never had the 2 last dishes and loved the flavor. If we every get back to Altrincham this will definitely be our first stop.”

“This place made my son happy, nice to spend the day with friends or family. Plenty space for the kids to run around and play outdoor. A cafe with big range menu and reasonable prices. The prices for the rides are £3/per person otherwise there is a free playing area. We can spend hours looking at the planes landing and taking off”

“Lovely walk round denzal gardens. Very friendly place to walk whist with your fury friend. Beautiful setting to catch up with other walkers. Benches so you can sit a chat and a pond to sit round”

“Really enjoyed our visit on a Sunday, managed to book online easily, parking was available. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the food came in a very reasonable time, great value and cooked to a very good standard. The children's menu offered choice and well-sized portions. “I go once or twice a week for a oat milk coffee and a vegan toasted sandwich the staff are very nice and helpful all the time the place is clean and well set out has more of a family run feel about it than the other costa coffee shops I've been to. Friendly staff.”

“Stopped on the way on holiday and the room, restaurant and service was all good. Booked a last minute night returning due to a very delayed flight, and again got a good rate and good service. The cherry on the top was a surprise bottle of wine to celebrate our honeymoon. Not expected at all and such a lovely gesture. ☺️”

“A superb property to stay short term in. Great attention to detail and the finish is fantastic. We stayed in the Bridgewater suite and for 4 of us to stay in a large self contained apartment it was cheaper per person than any other local hotel with anything like the comfort and style and far more spacious.”

“Sofia tutored my daughter through her 11 plus journey. She pinpointed the areas which my daughter struggled the most with and helped her become more confident in her abilities. Thanks to Sofia taking the time to prepare lots of useful resources such as past papers, my daughter was able to practice her exam technique. This was a big help in getting my daughter into the school we really wanted for her and she passed all 4 selective grammar school entrance exams. Would definitely recommend.”

I was apprehensive, and generally don’t go out for Sunday Dinner as it’s always a let down compared to eating at home, but this was actually great, the Chicken was cooked to perfection, great portions, fantastic bar staff, and service, thank you James and Lillia, and Styal is a wonderful place to visit I will definitely be back with the family”
