Relaxed pub atmosphere in Manchester

“Pizza, pizza, pizza - we all love pizza and even more so when it’s a thin base (means we can eat more) and herby…off to pizzaluxe in Manchester Arndale On our veggie pizza plate was the 13inch Melanzene [£9.50], which had such a variety of vegetables and the creamy feta giving that indulgence. We also had the 10inch Bufala [£7.50], which is a classic that you cannot go wrong with For a side, we recommend the Dough & Dip Breadsticks [£4.50] - fresh, soft bread perfect for the winter belly”

“Great sports pub! The atmosphere is brilliant on a big match day. Flags up in the window, sport event board outside, bunting and plenty of choice for good viewing! The large projector and black out blinds make for a fab viewing experience. Best experience I’ve had so far. All the staff seemed welcoming and friendly. “Done in , the food is real good. Just make sure to tell the staff what you need in your food. If you wish to have little salt or pepper and they will adjust to your liking. Price is good and you can tell them how much you have to spend and they make great choices for low prices as well”

The Manager overheard my Aunt saying something wasn't right, he acted immediately (it wasn't the pub's mistake) & changed it for her. Everything tasted lovely & excellent value for money.”

“The food was absolutely incredible Jamie made the gammon to perfection. It tasted incredible. The waiter Elaine couldn’t do enough for us, grabbing our refillable drinks and even offering us stuff in replacement of sides we didn’t like. The service was very fast and the food arrived perfect. One of the best harvester experiences I’ve had. Would definitely visit again when coming to Manchester.”

“I go to the matchstick quite often all the staff are great can't do enough for you make you feel welcome it's definitely a good place to have a laugh some nice food at affordable prices. You want some grub an few pints it's great they got multiple televisions for the football and you can really relax!”

“Lovely place to stop off for a drink. Had a lovely walk through Worsley woods with the dog and stopped off for a pint. The dog was offered the doggy menu and chose ice cream. Extremely friendly staff and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Doggy friendly too!”

“The bruschetta starter is very tasty. Surprised that it is only one piece but we split it in half to share between two of us. The mushroom tagliatelle pasta is exquisite, very creamy and filling. The tiramisu is very light. Again, a bigger portion was expected but it is still very nice. A great place to visit if you’re looking for some good quality food and nice service. Portion sizes are on the small side.”

“Needed to find somewhere to drink before a meal. Saw a small sign outside that said £4 Pilsner Urquell from a Beer Tank and 2-4-1 cocktails until 8pm (including Saturdays!), So we were intruiged to say the least. Went down the stairs and the cocktails on offer were really and surprisingly great. Great aesthetics in the venue too, seemed like it had good potential for an evening DJ set too, but we didn't stay long enough to find out. Very surprised this place isn't bustling on a Saturday, definitely worth checking out if you find yourself in the Northern Quarter.”

“We booked in for my dads birthday after coming a few weeks ago. The manager was so good and he told us we could have the private dining area. The evening was brilliant. Food great and the service was exceptional. Felt so looked after. Thank you so much to all the team and the chefs. We look forward to coming back. Again the manager was brilliant. “Just got back from a one night stay and it was excellent. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff were extremely helpful. After a long drive up from Bristol it was perfect to pop next door and have a couple of beers. The breakfast was great, they catered for the vegetarians amongst us with no problems. We will definitely be staying here again Thank you”
