“Our kitten Louie has stayed here twice now with a third time booked in. The owner Heidi is so lovely, kind and incredibly accommodating and takes such good care of all the animals! The pens are very spacious and have lots of toys to keep them entertained. We know he’s in safe hands and honestly couldn’t recommend this place enough!”

“A great little find. Don’t let the grand exterior intimidate you. Inside you find a beautifully designed cosy bar. The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming that after originally only stopping by for a drink we decided to opt for the small plates deal. It did not disappoint! “We just had a 3 day , 2 night family gathering here for 12 people and 4 dogs. We received exceptional treatment, nothing was too much trouble. We all had afternoon teas which were absolutely amazing, and we had lovely evening meals too. The rooms were all lovely and clean, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. The staff (in particular Sean & Loraine.) Have wonderful customer service skills, and make you feel very special. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, its A true hidden gem.”

Upper floor is for foodstuffs, while lower is for clothing, kids toys, electrical etc. Opticians, camera services etc are also downstairs.”

“We have had the pleasure of knowing Melanie for the past 3.5years! She has looked after and cared for our golden retriever Alfred since he was six months old every time we go on holiday. I feel privileged to have found Care2Pets dog walking and home boarding as I know our furry member of the family will always be safe and loved while he's on his holidays with Melanie! I can't recommend this company enough as they are so wonderful! Alfred loves staying here and playing with Melanies own dogs! He gets very excited when he realises he's going, and also when he sees them when we are out on a family walk and he recognises either Melanie or her beautiful dogs!”

“From booking in the staff were friendly the manager Leigh made sure we were seated and had everything we needed to start our visit. Our table server was Geoff was pleasant and great with the 5 children giving colouring sheets and crayons to do while we waited for the last guest to arrive. And our carvery chef Mike was so patient with the kids as they decided which meat they wanted . We love going to Ash Tree Farm it's always a pleasure and clean plates too.”
