"We just had a 3 day , 2 night family gathering here for 12 people and 4 dogs. We received exceptional treatment, nothing was too much trouble. We all had afternoon teas which were absolutely amazing, and we had lovely evening meals too. The rooms were all lovely and clean, and the hotel had a really nice atmosphere. The staff (in particular Sean & Loraine.) Have wonderful customer service skills, and make you feel very special. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel, its A true hidden gem."

"We had a lovely stay here. The restaurant area is nice and well decorated, evening food was good and the staff were lovely. The rooms were clean if a bit worn, and we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was included, but the only average part of our stay. All in all we had a good experience."

"Staff are wonderful and very friendly. The rooms are OK, clean and tidy. The hotel has some lovely vintage features and the history of it is fascinating. The layout is a bit of rabbit Warren but I suspect this is due to the old meets new areas in the construction. The breakfast was substandard. They had breakfast bacon in the same pot as the mushrooms next to one another, as a vegetarian this was disturbing. No bread for toast and this was at 8am. Disappointing. Other than this is was an OK stay."
